For max budget of $4k, do you guys have any recommendations for 85 or 100 inch TV for media room where I plan to add "Samsung Q990C 11.1.4 Channel Sound Bar System"? Can wait till Dec for any upcoming sales. Any specific TVs to keep eye on which may come in my budget? TIA.

Pointless exercise, you either do some research and buy something you really want or wait till the December sale and buy something on sale.
Ahaha you're gonna buy a soundbar and then as an afterthought add the 100" TV?

Yeah, get one that's certified to be compatible with the soundbar!
Have you looked into projectors?
Just watched Andrew Robinson's review of the Q990C - a fabulous choice. He does say that if you go for a Sony TV to consider the HT-A9.
I have a QLEd of each size. 85" in my housemaids ensuite toilet, the 100'' in the pantry.Next to the solar powered 300litre convection microwave.
To be fair these smaller format TVs are much of a muchness.TCL C845 is an excellent mini-LED illuminated LCD TV for the price, can down get to around $3,400 - $3,600 for the 85" if you're patient for deals or shop around.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/tcl-85c845Supports all the latest connectivity including HDMI 2.1, snappy Google TV interface and a very bright panel that's great for HDR/Dolby Vision or watching in areas with high ambient lighting. Inbuilt speakers are rubbish, but not an issue for you since you're lucky enough to have jumped on the Samsung Q990C deal.
For that budget I'd go with an 85" Sony X95K if you can get it on clearance or Sony X90L.
Yeah the Sony’s are great, you should be able to find deals like these:
