Has Anyone Had Any Luck Bargaining with Samsung Online Store/Edu Store?

Hi guys,

Been looking at purchasing a G9 OLED (originally thinking about a G8 OLED) monitor from Samsung. Saw on here that they had a sale with UNIDAYS for $2074 which just expired. I have access to Education store now whereas I didnt a few days ago as I had to reverify.

I have contacted their online store/edu store a few times to see if they would price match however not one agent has event suggested they could give a discount. I see others on OzB and Reddit say they have a lot more luck talking to online agents. Is this the case for anyone here? Is there some trick I am missing

If anyone has had any luck or any advice please let me know,

    No.. you have no chance. You’ll be lucky if you can even get hold of their customer service in the first place

    Nope. Previously tried when Amazon dropped their S23 prices.

    They weren't backwards in telling me to bugger off…

    The samsung gov / edu / ebay stores all seem to be run by the same third party supplier and they seem to get pretty terrible reviews across the board. They seem to have real problems managing their inventory system and seem to get caught out pretty frequently by selling more than they actually have. Buy with caution.

      When they get it wrong, they really get it wrong. I know of a couple of people who have had to take them to the ACCC to get any sort of resolution (one for a broken fridge, the other for a broken dishwasher)

    Very surprised by the comments of others. Indeed you have a good chance of grabbing bargains at Samsung stores. They have some very nice sales for TV (60% off) and monitor (50% off) earlier this year on Edu/EPP stores.
    Can they price-match? No, very unlikely. Their sales at time are already at good price, including some secret sales.

    If you're after a monitor, G9 oled just released and I don't think you can have a real bargains. G8 and G7 probably have some better prices and easier to obtain I think. Also, there are also a few tips for purchase

      The G9 OLED has been down to $2074 from $2699 previously. Id just like them to match that
