Looking to get some new prescription sunglasses I've only bought from OPSM and Specsavers in the past. Just wondering if anyone has purchased cheap prescription sunnies online and what stores are decent? Specsavers currently have 2 for $199 sitewide but are there any good options cheaper than this?
Prescription Sunglasses from Online Stores

Thanks I'll have a look at them
I buy from Google's 4 U. Really cheap, last year Specsavers was charging me $700 for 2 pairs and with them I paid $100 for 3 pairs. They are really cheap but the frames are good quality, have lasted a year so far.
Ohh and customer service is great, they made a mistake with one pair and sent me a new free pair and got to keep the bad one (different tint).
Thanks, will check them out
check out this post for Clearly - 1 basic pair with delivery for $16.30
I use Clearly for regular glasses but they don't have many options for cheaper sunglasses. Basically all their frames are designer. And they only only have one option of a blue mirror tint on the regular glasses which isn't what I'd choose, if they had standard sunglasses tint or polarised on their regular frames I would buy from them, hope they do that in the future.
Silly question here, but if you have extras cover with $300 for glasses, can you claim from these overseas web sites?
My health fund will only pay claims for suppliers with an Australian ABN. Probably the same for all health funds.
thanks, yes i had a sneaking suspicion that might have been the case
You can claim with Clearly, I've done it a few times now.
@yanyan1: Thanks , ill give them a look
My partner has bought her glasses from Zenni for years. She has a very complicated prescription which means her glasses are in the vicinity of $600 a pair in Australia
She buys a number of pairs from Zenni at the time because of postage and it’s substantially cheaper for her this way than buying local
YMMV depending on your script
