Normal price is closer to $200 elsewhere. (Not the $350 listed as original price)

  • Does this one have connectivity via an App?

    • Doesn’t look like it.
The Kogan 4S has smart app and rates better than this for same price.

  • I have this. it's good.

is the PlasmaWave tech anything to do with ionisation?

Also how tall is it approximately if you don't mind? the images on the listing have the unit photoshopped in and it looks different sizes on different images so it's hard to tell

Is this Hospital Grade sound system? lol!

would be more functional/useful than this thing sitting in your lounge room only emitting warning sounds to replace its expensive pre and other filters and emptying your wallet (gradually) for years to come

    Hospital Grade?

Not sure thats an endorsement as hospitals are centres of pestilence and superbugs

Im trying not to point out these things are basically (for most people, not people with asthma who have a legit reason) printers for lounge rooms, cheap buy in, expensive ink refills (filters) afterwards, because some people get triggered and upset, usually the same freeedom fighter people who wouldnt wear a mask during COVID

    • Rubbish - they trap pm2.5 particulates that are released when fuel is burnt, bush and wood fires, diesel engines, gas stoves. Also allergens like pollen and dander. Pm2.5 particulates get into your lungs and lodge into tissue. And as research is showing, there is no safe level of pm2.5

Also case studies where hospitals actually use HEPA filtration show they reduce if not completely eliminate HAI.

      • if you really think a 30cm tall toy is going to do anything measurable, then i have some swampland to sell you

youre better off lobbying your local climate denialist liberal member to get them on board to speed up the adoption of green energy, because and i dont know if you have completely thought this through, but that electricity you need to power your lounge printer needs to come from somewhere, and currently everyone that buys one is only adding to the problem your claiming to eliminate with them…

i know, lets all get an air purifier….because thats logical

and again, i smoked for 35 years, gave up a few years back, exercise now at a good pace, alongside a busy road, which probably a lot of people buying these things use, to be healthy, and im still here, breathing atmosphere… the same atmosphere as everyone else, with a self inflicted deficit. You'd think, surely, if anyone needed a bit of extra help breathing it would be me. But am i rushing out to buy one…nope.

again i get it with people who have an actual diagnosed medical need for asthma etc, for anyone else its just another device being sold with marketing, i mean i respect the game, maybe i need to buy some shares…

        • I don't disagree about the size of this unit - I have a similar sized unit in my car and it makes a measurable difference when smoke permeates. So yes, this one won't do much in a hospital setting. It's all good and well if you want to inhale stuff but some don't accept that it's necessary. And there's research that kids inhaling this stuff may actually be a major cause of asthma. So in my mind preventing onset of asthma is a bigger deal than preventing asthmatic episodes.

      • I think you're arguing with a MAGA loon.
