I've bought one identical from official Baseus store from Taobao China, and not long after it start to fail. Seems to be a firmware problem,

Although the power bank is fully charged, it won't start wireless charge my iPhone 13 pro, and if I try to use CtoC cable to PD charge my Android, it will appear charging for a brief moment and stop repeatly.

I need to plug the power bank into a charger to give it a kickstart before it start charging normally…… and I disconnect and left it for a while, then I need to give it a kickstart again.

disclaimer: I only have a sample size of 1, and I have followed the "reset" instruction multiple times given by Baseus's support.

I'd personally steer clear with Baseus, but again that's based on my sample size of 1.

      sounds like faulty hw

it very well could be just faulty hw. but I have also seen people complaining about different Baseus power bank doing weird things on different forums multiple occasions. To be fair I can't say about others, but I am not happy with my sample size of 1.

    • Yeh sounds faulty…

I don’t mind my one, charges up quickly however is v slow I charging my 14pro.. used best when left to charge over night.. doesn’t fully charge, stops around 90%

  • does anyone know if thisll charge the s23U at 15Ws, I heard theres a limitation if its not certified ir something

    • I have a 3rd party MagSafe charger it charges my s21u with a “ring” on the back of the phone,

      https://amzn.asia/d/4UbRNSr

      • does it charge at the max charging Waatage? Bwvaue I read somewhere that there might be limitations ie. for s23U, max is 15W but people were reporting 7.5W for some third party brands

        • I don’t have the tool to measure the wattage but AFAIK if the charger and the phone both support the same Qi protocol, they should be changing at the max speed

Temperature also has an impact on changing speed

        • 7.5w sounds like a 3rd party charger charging iPhone to me

  • Anyone know if it charges iphone with normal (non mag) case?

    • +2

No it won’t. I have non mag case and it doesn’t work through it. I got a new mag case and it worked.
