Vanilla Visa Prepaid - Refund Timeframe

I've been using my Vanilla Visa Gift Cards to pay for my bill and orders online. So far so good but I've got blocked by a merchant due to their Riskified flagged me as potentially high risk customer (using multiple credit cards)

I'm now having $700 stuck in "refunding". Anyone has experience with the refund timeframe? How long normally the fund becomes available for usage again after the refund is started?

    • PCCG, they genuinely wanted to protect themselves from fraud transactions. I guess they didn't know/border to tweak their Risk settings for a single customer like me.

      Anyway, I asked for full refund even for my 4 x $250 Orders that have gone through. Gonna bring a stack of Visa cards to Umart store instead. They're only 15 mins away from me.

      The refunding transactions have shown up as pending when I check my Vanilla Card Balance, but there's no clear mentioned anywhere when will the fund be available again, some other network of giftcards seem to process it manually which mean I'll need to ring them. Can't find much information about Vanilla Gift Cards

  • Found it out myself, it took 3 days for the pending refund to be cleared and Vanilla Gift Card balance became available again!
