  • For $430 on Amazon I'd go Sovol SV06 Plus. Way better build quality, it's a Prusa clone. Slightly smaller build volume but still plenty big enough to do helmets.

    • I understand that everyone has different needs and preferences when it comes to 3D printers.
The Neptune 3 PLUS offers a larger build volume, automatic bed leveling, a PEI magnetic platform, and a range of other features. It is a 3D printer with excellent performance and functionality as also a good option.

Other than the larger build volume the Sovol also as everything you mention and has better bearings/rails and hotter hotend.

  • I'd be waiting to see what Bambulab drops tonight

  • Smaller build area but I got a Neptune 4 for around $330 on the elegoo ebay store under a recent deal. So far I'm quite happy with it. Even though the Neptune 3 plus has a bigger build area i can't help feeling that it just doesn't hold a feather to the Neptune 4.

    • The Neptune 3 plus and Neptune 4 do differ in a few ways. You can choose the printer that is right for you according to your needs and preferences.

have the neptune3 pro and absolutely love it! printed perfectly as soon as it was assembled, and assembly was much easier than putting the ender3 v2 together - not sure how much more difficult the n3 plus would be though.

That's great to hear that you're loving your Neptune 3 Pro!
If the Neptune 3 Pro was relatively easy for you to assemble, it's likely that the Neptune 3 Plus won't be significantly more difficult. ELEGOO likely maintain a similar assembly process across their models.
If you decide to upgrade to the Neptune 3 Plus, you can consult the assembly instructions provided by ELEGOO(Neptune 3 plus:User's Guide):https://www.elegoo.com/pages/3d-printing-user-support
If you have any specific questions or concerns during the assembly, Feel free to contact ELEGOO for help
      Happy printing!
