    I always use Samsung, I've had other brands of 18650 fail but the 25 or so Samsung's i have are all still going. This light doesn't have a high amp draw, so if you can get the 3500mAh 10A cheap they are perfect.

      Take Amazon descriptions with a grain of salt. It takes a single 18650 - a "Wuben" 2600mAh, usually included.

  I have 3 of these and had one battery die within about 2 months. I contacted support and they said that 2 months for a battery was good enough and not covered by warranty.

  Saying this the torches are good and bright but the support isn't if something goes wrong.
