  • Its not updating in cart for me - 1kg of Sunset Blvd…
    scratch that, all good now.

  • Can I delay the order by like 1 month? :)

Still awaiting my free coffee :(

    • That was a scam to get your data. If something is free that means YOU are the product

I'm still getting promo emails from them, despite not getting coffee and unsubscribing

        • +1

I've had issues with not being unsubscribed too. Companies definitely being dodgy about their mailing lists.

I got the coffee, but I didn't like it (Downtown). Not much body. Seemed like older beans. It wasn't terrible, I'd say on par with Aldi beans.
That being said, I'll try / buy the Sunset Blvd as I appreciated receiving the freebie beans. But sounds like I may have just got lucky?

        • I got my 1kg of Downtown too. Remarkably, I was a customer by that time.
So far Sunset Blvd is my top.

          • @Cupa Bundy Drinker: 1kg..wow! I got 500g (which I thought was really good, hence I will support them).
How would you describe the flavour of Sunset Blvd?

            • @tunzafun001: My bad, I got 500g too.
I'm not great in describing tastes. Sunset Blvd is is some ways similar to Downtown, but brighter and more intense.

    • I wonder if they will change the terms and conditions of this offer too…

    • You did not miss much. The coffee was crap

    Name sounds familiar.
    Yep, free coffee never arrived.

You need to spend a bit for it to be price competitive. I personally prefer Lime Blue and there's a deal on atm https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/799650 and Airjo https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/799748

    Free coffee was a scam

  • Anybody want to do a group buy with me?

  • When we found out that my wife was pregnant, we asked to swap a delayed order for decaf which they approved… but guess what we had our original order delivered.

Sorry to hear others have had a recent bad experience. I regularly buy and I will certainly be getting some kilograms of a single origin for 60% off.

  • +1

That's probably the most expensive beans I've seen. Anyone have good experience with them? 60% off brings it almost in line with my normal beans.

    • -2

Buddy, those prices are the beginning of specialty coffee prices. But their coffee isn't that special. I only buy their 'reserve list', and only when it is 40%+ discounted.

  • +3

    The SMS I got that alerted me to the deal was a little misleading;

    "SALE IS LIVE!
Spend & Save 60% on all your Inglewood favourites!
    Sale ends 11:59pm, 22.09.23.
    Shop now:"

I added in the bold. Unsubscribed, but ended up ordering, not with a 60% discount.

Never seen a coffee company have so many scorned customers. Yet somehow this deal makes the front page!

    • +1

Posted and ran. Hasn't been online since.

      • +1

Yep. Perfect way for them to sell surplus old coffee.

        • Where did you hear this mate?

I just gave them a call on their number on their website and someone answered straight away and said its all freshly roasted and dispatched within the week - the same standard as any other specialty roaster in Aus.

What history of scorning customers do they have?

Is there any mandate for a business to be constantly responding to people on forums, they could just post and leave it at that?

Wondering what past experiences have informed your comments

          Cheers

@sabirun2144: Check out some of their old deals for insight. Cheers.

We’re a huge fan on this coffee. Jumped onto the freebie and got downtown. Absolutely love it.

Was previously an Airjo customer but we’ve converted.

This deal is good, but prefer the 50% 1kg beans!

  • +1

I tasted these guys once the roast date is like every 2 weeks they do it.

Airjo roasts daily so I prefer these guys for my coffee because its freshly roasted.

But these guys aren't bad from the free 500g I got from them.

  • I thought it'd be hard to rack up $300 but that was an easy spend. Great coffee!

  • Not the biggest fan of a lot of their blends, but I've really liked some of their SO Espresso's. Interested to try the sugar daddy and bloom blends tho

Not keen on waiting a few months for delivery

  • +1

Just spent over 300 and got the 60% off.

Bags of single origin coming to about $8 a bag (250g equivalent). Absolute steal. Thank you inglewood for this deal.

I drink 4 shots a day (22gx2 = 44 grams a day), takes me about 3 weeks to get through a kilo, and have found no problem with coffee freshness within two months.

Their Single origins look just as well roasted and curated as only other specialty roaster so I'm not concerned about quality.

Their standard blend offerings seem to be roasted quite on the darker side, which I have avoided given my preference for fruit, tropical, sweet flavours.

Signed up to their mailing list during their free coffee promotion, got an email back saying i would receive coffee in the mail…Alas no coffee. So no future purchases from me folks! Just poor service to be honest.

  • I just chucked the Bloom coffee in my Breville Barista Express and man, the Strawberry flavors stand out wonderfully. Had to come to Ozb and report that this is some of the nicest coffee I've had in a while.

I've had a bit of bad luck with some of Inglewoods flavors in the past, but the Bloom is delicious.
