My local PetBarn never has any problem matching prices by simply showing the website on my phone at the register
have not tried this……guess i will go tonight and find out!
edit online chat advised they price maych but just not to bundipet petbuy or any market places
I tried a few months ago with petbarn to price match for large 6pack for $79.95 they wouldn’t match it as it was under their cost price.
Agree. I do this vetafarm MD pellets for parrots. They want $39 for 2kg and I show them pretty much whoever is the cheapest and regularly get it for ~$25.
Any discount coupons ?
Always worth buying the biggest and cutting it to suit you dog size - much cheaper that way.
that is so simplistic and logically should work and absolute genius.
however i do question this method if you only have 1 single dog…..and if its a small dog if cutting the tablet/chew up and having it exposed even if you seal it in something that it will lose some of its effectiveness?
Distribution of active ingredients is uneven throughout the dose. I'd pay a few bucks more a month to save a few grand at the vet anyday
That makes zero sense. It's like saying distribution of fluoride is varies in different parts of a toothpaste.
It would make sense if the active ingredients are not part of the initial mixture, perhaps added or injected at the end? I'm not saying this is the case but it's possible.
Anything I could find online says the same, don't do it because the active ingredients may not be evenly distributed. However, I'm assuming all of these websites are taking the manufacturer's word for it, and they certainly have a reason to lie.
At the end of the day I would say it's probably fine. Whether you're under or over-dosing your dog it won't be affected too much, supposedly this stuff is mild enough that multiple doses shouldn't have a negative effect.
If you look at the tablets they are not an even colour throughout.
It's like saying that distribution of fluoride is varies in different parts of a toothpaste that has for example the minty gel stripes through it.
Who are you?
That's what I've been doing for several years now. I cut it in half and keep the unused half in an airtight container till next month.
I freeze them
Is that better? I keep them in the fridge. I feel really iffy about keeping medication in the freezer.
@DontNeedThis: I have no idea
Thank you op. Next 6 months sorted.
I'm sorted from the last deal, but thanks for posting.
$99 WA/TAS/NT - doesnt seem to trigger and charging the flat $20 delivery
Has anyone heard about this brand causing seizures in dogs? It's been over the internet.
Any over of those "internet" post reliable sources with actual data, or is it all anecdotal?
Like any form of medication, there are always differences in biological results.
yeah they are over the internet from tiktok, insta
Ahhh TikTok, the best source of data.
@snuke: I don't know why you need to give me that attitude. Is this just because it's the internet and so people can show their true self? It's a lot of views and ppl commented replying they've have heard of it causing seizures to their dogs until they switched pet supply.
@PeeDee: I am not giving you any attitude, simply highlighting that your source is far from reputable. If we were sitting across from each other having a conversation, it would be no different. All too often I see or am passed on "information" that is no better than bro science passed from one half drunk to another at the pub.
I will call out a lack of reputable to sources all day every day as I am sick of people being mislead by what is often just plain BS.
My dogs have taken this Nexgard for years, but my data point of two dogs is again no more than anecdotal. If I was to take to Insta or TikTok saying it's the best thing since alternating current, then that too would be just as moronic. It's a lot of views and ppl commented replying they've have heard
Right, so you have an echo chamber of people with a lack of critical thinking. Flat earth videos have lots of views with people saying they have also heard of XY or Z, doesn't make it right.
Give me a real reputable medical source, then I will listen, otherwise I will highlight the flaw in the thought process.
Petfood brand Nutro has had multiple official recalls due to quantifiable data linking their products to dog deaths. This data is easily found from reputable sources including the US FDA. That doesn't mean their current range is an issue, but it does show a history of problems that could result in death. If you had something like the FDS instead of TikTok………….
is this expired? 6pack purple is now showing as $89.49
This seller is rubbish. Hasn't posted item in over a month. Provided 'shipping' update only to show for two weeks that the shipping information has been provided to aus post, not the parcel itself.
Customer service does not respond to multiple emails. Avoid in future
they are a bit shit.
Expiry date?
