I will be there same days. Can organise ozbargain meet.

      • No way!
We probably have the same great value hotel 😉

        • Any recommendations of value hotels in that area? Tried to search for cherry blossom in april, either most of them are not open for booking, or fully booked

@countmein: I booked HOTEL MYSTAYS Fuji Onsen Resort for late March a few weeks ago. Best value i found and close to Fuji station. Others were not as accessible without car.

  • What does "limited checkouts" mean?

    • limited number of transactions without limiting number of tickets, I guess?

      • That would be my reading of it too

    Eejanaika, Eejanaika!
That tune will get stuck in your head when you’re waiting 2-3 hours in the queue for that ride.
    Great ride though.

  • Get ready for mega line ups :)

  • Hi ozbargainers, need some advice
I'm planning on spending the whole day at Fuji Q next month
Do you guys reckon it would be cheaper to buy this day pass rather than purchase individual tickets on the day for each ride? I'm planning to do mostly the bigger rides (Eejanaika, Takabisha, Fujiyama, Tentekomai) and buy a priority pass for those. If it is cheaper to buy a day pass from Klook, can I use it whilst also buying the priority pass individually for each ride?

    Thanks, QF99

If you don't have the day pass, then you still have to pay to go on the ride (2000 JPY each for the big 4 you mentioned and 1500 JPY for the other rides iirc). The priority ticket is in addition to this, so you have to pay whether you buy a day pass or not.

Paying for individual rides is only worth it if you're planning to do just 1-2 rides and no more.

      My plan is:
      - Go on a weekday and line-up early before opening time
      - Buy priority tickets for 1-2 of the big 4 rides later in the day
      - Just queue up for your first couple of big rides for the day
      - Fill in any free time with other rides (I really liked the Evangelion 4D ride)

      • Gotcha thank you so much for your reply.

  • Any Tokyo Disneyland or JR Pass deals for December?

Pelago (owned by Singapore Airlines) has a 20% off promo code VISAPEL20 (capped at SGD15) for your first order. They also have 30% off (capped at SGD35) if you have an active Singapore Airlines booking. I was living in Singapore so I used these for my JR Pass, ymmv

The haunted hospital is so worth doing, one of the biggest and best-haunted houses I've ever experienced and this is coming from a yank.

  • Below rides are not included. Are they normally not included with pass?

    • Phantom theater
    • Ninjutsu Carnival
    • Fujiyama - King of Casters Walk
    • Fujiyama - King of Casters Slider
