Awesome deal if your after a router (not the networking kind).
Got this when it went down to $120ish and still had an alert setup
Can also get additional router bits discounted https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B000P4IS9G

is this useful for door frame jams, locks etc?
In the right hands yes… but in the wrong hands no…. A chisel, door lock jig and good skill should do well
I'm fairly new to woodworking, but if using a router for this purpose, i think a trim router would be better. More compact, easier to move around, and can use with one hand. Probably need some sort of jig or template to be precise
I always want a router, for what I don't know, but still want one. Does this one come with Wifi 6 and NAT.
Comes with pretty good shelf life
buy 3 and set up an awesome mesh system!!
will this one stop hack saw coming?
Q: Why did the woodworking router upgrade to WiFi 6?
A: Because it wanted to make sure its wooden signals were "cutting-edge"!
Q: Why did the woodworking router get a job in IT?
A: Because it was great at making smooth connections!
I see $214.72
Guessing it was a pricing error that got fixed.
It's back in stock as of the time of writing of this post. Three in stock.
For what it's worth, I ordered this yesterday but when I opened the order confirmation today to track delivery I noticed the price was wrong. I clicked the link for details and it said I had ordered a USED one for $82 (used, damaged box, no warranty, $7 cheaper). I spent ages on Amazon chat today and was told "no, you ordered a used one, would you like to cancel and buy a new one?" which, at the time, was only a UK model for $215. They had no interest in hearing my argument about a new one for $89.40, or following my link to camelcamelcamel to confirm it was that price yesterday. I had to leave the chat for a meeting. This afternoon I saw it again available new for $89.40 so I ordered another one, making extra sure it was a new one and taking screenshots. This time the confirmation was correct. I got onto chat and cancelled the original order. They did that, but no interest in any sort of apology for what happened on the first order.
From now on I will be slowing down a touch and taking screenshots at all steps of the process, just to be sure.
Good price, would buy if I didn't already have 2 routers
