doritos cheese supreme party packs half price at coles right now.
Works out to be 15c cheaper per 100g than the S&S for the deal linked.
Great for anyone going to coles anyway or within walking distance https://www.coles.com.au/product/doritos-cheese-supreme-corn…

Usually just eat Aldi chips but there is a tangible difference with their corn chips. Good tip about Coles but my closest is 15kms away.

      Mission chips

    • Aldi salt and vinegar chips are better than expensive brands. Highly recommended.

Cheese Supreme 700g is discounted to $6.99 at Costco if you have one near you

Nobody needs 700g of cheese supreme dorritos.

        Blasphemy!

      • Omg 700g bag of chips really exist. That's crazy.

the year is 2050, Doritos still hasn't released the Chilli Heatwave flavour in Australia, yet standard in most Western countries

Needs a lot of fleshing out, but I'd definitely see this movie.

If only I could spark up the DeLorean and go back to the 80's - that's when Doritos were the real deal - disappointed every time i buy them now

  • i want cool ranch

Don’t eat them all at once, don’t do it every day at least. Trust me 😩

Why are these constantly shrinking? They were 250g, then 200g, now 170g

    So in a few years they'll be 130g, then 100g, then 60g, then 20g…

At what point are you paying $3 for a single chip? How about releasing some larger sizes.

Edit: This comment can apply to Cadbury's chocolate as well.

Shrinkflation has been around for years. Hold the price but reduce the size. Economies of scale of production has the like Smiths and others raking in millions.

      • +2

But that's exactly my point. You can't keep shrinking indefinitely. So at what point are we going to be paying $3 for a single chip or one tiny square of chocolate? It's ridiculous.

        • +2

You can’t keep shrinking if you eat 250g of deep fried cheese dust coated snacks.

    • +1

And then they release the all "new" party size 250g bag. Wow. Amazing!

You people do realise how much it costs and the risks of employing someone in Australia don't you. It is insane. That is why inflation is out of control. Only option is to go Chinese made if you want cheap but do you want that???

    • +1

How much in labour can it really cost to have someone dump a barrel of cheese dust into the Dorito Maker 9000 factory floor…

    • +1

Problem is then these distributors and retailers suddenly claim RECORD profits etc …

    • It says they're made in Australia?
