It’s also worth mentioning that Amazon is currently selling physical Activ Visa gift cards with no purchase or delivery fees.

    • got a link for these?

    • Can't pay with Amazon balance I supposed? Or we can only dream? :)

      • Not for these gift cards, unfortunately.

      • You can't, but I used digital activ visa to buy this, as I was unable to add digital ones to apple pay for in store. Now I can use physical cards in store finally.

        • Good idea, thanks

Nice find, you can also price match at Officeworks to get a further 5% off.

      • No luck when I tried.

        • Why didn't it work?

          • @aaron3: Firstly they weren't happy with the Amazon listing saying that there's a fee in the title, then they shifted to the activation fee is not part of the price.

    • How often are they fee-less on Amazon? Not showing up on Camelcamelcamel

      • This is the first time I've seen it. I'm pretty sure it's a price error.

  • Any use case for these?

      as a gift?

  • Why do people do this?

    • Gifts, and to hit spending requirements on credit cards to get points.

  • Still have to pay $2.95 for shipping though. But they take AMEX, which is nice. Thanks for the heads up OP.

I like to buy these with my AMEX to use at shops that don't take AMEX (mostly Aldi where I do my grocery shopping - $500 lasts me about 6 weeks).

  • just found out that their $2.95 standard postage is no tracking/signature letter post. Even buying a Boost sim card is registered post. WTF are they doing?

    • i stand corrected. it is via registered post and you have to activate online.
