I was looking at my buy list from at least 2 months ago. I wrote down prices from the PS store for:
AEW: Fight Forever @ $33
Street Fighter 6 @ $61
Those prices are after conversion with Wise and at the time, the purchase price.
Now those games are bumped up to $65 for AEW and $95 for SF6.
I don't have prices for anything else from July, has anyone else noticed a price increase as well?
Damn I figured so. Ah well, it was a good run. I did get some good deals. Glad I pre-ordered Spider-Man 2 for like $50 earlier as well. I'd be kicking myself if I didn't.
Spider-Man 2 pre-order dropped to $79 on Amazon which would be the better buy if price conscious.
Get it, play it, plat it, sell it 2 weeks later for $80 when the price goes back up to $99 on release. Rinse repeat.
My best option is to pre-order Spider-Man 2 for around $80 on PS store, since I prefer digital copies.
Is there any other currencies that are cheap still or did all of the other options get price jacked as well? (Argentina, Mexico, Brazil etc)
Yes, PS Store Turkey prices have increased sharply recently.
Far too many people abused the relatively lower prices apparently, so they’ve closed the loophole. Turkish people will be hit the hardest.
