Everything used to be cheaper.
the new "sliced bread used to cost xxx"
now, "{insert tech piece} used to cost xxx"
I mean recently, several weeks ago.
Which means it will likely be cheaper in future as well
But what if I need one now? Do you have a time machine?
@magic8ballgag: I guess if you ‘needed’ one you’d already have bought it at whatever price. So why are you here?
@Lps: To get the best price that is available at the time I want to buy something?
Your fingers must be sore from pinching each and every penny.
i used to pay 90c for petrol
$382.90
My only issue with the 9th gen iPad is the awkward way of charging the apple pencil (gen 1), even if you do use the cable.
I much prefer how the gen 2 can be charged (magnetically attached to the side of certain models). But the next affordable model without sacrificing size, is the Air (4th gen) but it's probably too much just to get the gen 2 charging method.
Any solutions?
Hoping once the new models of whatever release in Oct, the Air will decrease $ but unlikely significantly.
The Air probably won't decrease until next year at a March/April event when we get a 6th gen Air, IMO more likely in October is Apple releases an iterative update to the 10th gen and they'll only sell the 9th gen and a new 11th. The 11th will, at best, have a USB-C gen1 pen rather than wireless charging.
They'll keep the better pen/display/hardware for the Air. Most users don't really need the hardware and wouldn't notice the display, so keeping the gen 2 pen a unique selling point is a good way of keeping Air sales rolling.
That's assuming there even is an update in October. There hasn't been many rumours so far. But I wouldn't expect gen 2 pencil support for under $600 anytime soon.
Will Apple release a new iPad next week?
Most rumours say there won't be any
Not sure but this might help
Used to be sub 400
