    Might get some next Tuesday

      Why

      • +2

No one knows, she comes and goes

        • +2

When you change with every new day

        • Huh?

  • +5

I found these fruit blends to be very sour .. compared to the individual packed ones

    • Add sugar to your smoothies.

      • +1

        No, add banana

        • Add syrup

        • +3

I agree with adding a banana! I have been doing it for a while with this Ruby Fruit pack and that's all you need. Great Smoothies.

    • Enter Persians

The redcurrants in the ruby fruit blend we bought were unbelievably tart. Very very sour. Enough to make us throw the pack away. And I love raspberries. Maybe it was just an unripe batch, but we've not tried it since. Buy individual fruits and mix and match.

    • How are you serving it?

      • Various ways
Defrost and blend with yogurt and other stuff for smoothies
Defrost and add Greek yogurt or cream as dessert
Frozen direct from the container as a snack in summer

    • +6

CAUTION - You are what you eat - so I'm now an unbelievable tart.

      • +3

        Love a tart

    • Redcurrants are meant to be tart. The riper they are the more tart.

    • +4

I'm really shocked that people will throw away the whole pack of something instead of just removing the offending pieces.

  • Just in time for smoothie season

    • What's best stick blender you recc for smoothie with ice?

      • I have a nutribullet 1200 and a blendtec which boost uses. Both excellent
        No idea about stick blenders

    • +1

      Just in time for hepatitis

      • +2

        ???

  • What are the strawberries like in this? I bought a bag of strawberries from Aldi and they tasted awful. Same with the mango for that matter.

    • +2

Frozen strawberries are awful in general.

    • +1

I actually love them. They have this surprisingly creamy texture.

  • Literally bought 2 packs full price last week ☠️☠️

Finn a grab a few more for smoothieing

  • These have been my go lately. Hope I have enough rooms from them

    Product of? China I guess.

    • +4

      Chile

    • Product of your country

      • +3

Well they are obviously Chile if they are frozen.

  • There's a reason this blend keeps going on sale, and it's not because it tastes great…

    • +4

how bad could it be? is there frozen poo in it?

      • +2

        Not since 2015

      • It's bad.

  • Anyone know any good deals on unpitted cherries??

  • Shelves were cleaned out already in my local.

    • Mine had 2 rows of Ruby, of which 1 was cleared.

And a single bag left of the summer one. Lucky me..

  • +1

    YEAH BUOY!

  • Summer blend is goated

    • Why

      • Do you really want to know why some random on the internet can't give context to their half-finished sentence?

        • +1

Evidently. My sentence was also very well finished — subject, predicate and all…

It's goated because it's mango, strawberries and pineapple - a great range of richly sweet and tart flavours. These mangoes and strawberries in particular have a really nice creamy texture when frozen.

  • Anyone know why woolies doesn't sell frozen blackberries anymore while coles still does?

  • Amazing find!
    Good for Smoothies

  • OOS at my local and of course they do not have rainchecks.

  • Have to hope it's not grown in a country that uses human faeces as fertilizer.

It's crazy you have to worry more about disease from berries than chicken anymore.
