Bought these a few weeks ago for $10 and now reduced to $5.

Craftright? More like Craftwrong, amirite?
Have you checked the 1-star reviews?
Out of square
How do they know?
It is easy to check that: Draw a line perpendicular to a straight edge, flip the square over, draw another line. They should be the same line if the square is a square.
😲
lol, average rating 1.0. all reviews complaining about the squares not being square
You had one job Craftright…
Craftwrong
Lol even in the photos it doesn't look 90 degrees 😂
I saw this on sale at my local Bunnings on Sunday morning and bought a set for $5 as the quality of them looked good. Was expecting to post on OzB but backed off when I saw the comments on the bunnings site later. I checked if my items were square against another product I bought years ago and they seem ok. Good enough for my small jobs. Only complaint I have is an inability to hook them up on the wall. they lack a hook hole.
just drill a hole for the hook
I tried that using the Craftright Drill, but the instead of a hole, it drilled an ellipse…
given that this are not super accurate as "squares", still a decent price for 3 x metal rules.
how accurate do you want ? I use the craftright squares and my work fits together with no gaps.
to be honest the accuracy of these for most things does not worry me…. just pointing out the other positives if it bothered others…
3 metal rules plus 3 levels.
Winning.
If you are really on a budget with these, best go with a single piece version, much less likely to come out of the box not-square.
Honestly I cannot stop laughing at the comments here and externally - a square that isn't square.. What does one do with a product that is useless out of the packaging? Bunnings is going to be stuck with these. Its just utterly hilarious that this product has one job and it cant even do that.
This is my favourite review
The only right angle was the packaging. Crapola, crapski, crapous, craparamma.
The only right angles were the turns I had to make to return them to Bunnings.
Are they ok to use as boomerangs?
I doubt that… these are acute angled.

A square is probably one of the tools that I wouldn't cheap out on. Get an Empire or similar, they are not that expensive:

As the poster, and also a chap called marion once said… A man's gotta know his limitations!
Like any of us are going to notice a difference with our work lol
