Need to lose some weight from drinking all the cheap bottles of Pepsi etc that I find on here. What calorie counter app is the one to use?

Try the free version of MyFitnessPal and then look for alternatives.
MyFitnessPal
My advice is to standardise your meals. Have a dozen or so meal options that you rotate through. That way you don't have to calorie count on the go and you can prep in bulk so you always have a healthy meal ready to go which I find is the biggest factor in avoiding a KFC binge in a moment of weakness.
we dont count. i let it rip
That's been my problem.
long term my Fitness Pal User (not premium) but I got sick of the interface and now use Lose It (also not premium)
I've tried a few and had my greatest user experience, and weight loss success, using "Lose it!"
Accurate calories figures. Big library of branded foods, including australian brands and fast foods. Also very easy to create custom items.Yep Lose It! is great. You can signup for a lifetime membership for ~$70 if you sign up via their website off the back of a trial
I never paid for anything. Got what i needed from the free version.

MyMaccas app tells you the calories of each item. Works a treat.
Perfect!!!
Easy diet diary. No ads, easy to use interface.
Chronometer is better than MFP imo, only because it allows you to see micronutrients for free. Though it probably does not matter for most people.
Seconding Cronometer. Much better than MyFitnessPal these days.
I used Easy Diet Diary - free and Australian. Can set own recipes or fave foods etc.
Also can track exercise if you need itMFP is crap now, since they limited the options for the free account.
Cronometer is the go now.
ask your husband "Do I look fat?", if he turns pale YOU PHAT
I am the husband. Wife says I don't look fat.
Get a free Fitbit account. There is "track my food" on web or app.
I used to use it for Vitality points.
