Cheap budget b550 board for those that want the pcie 4 for the fast nvme drives that we all been hoarding. Two m.2 slot, 1 gen 3 though.
Long live our budget Ryzen 3600!

I think this is even crazierm https://www.umart.com.au/product/amd-ryzen-5-5500-6-core-am4…
A 6 core AM4 for $139, that's ridiculous.
Doesnt have PCIe 4.0 though.
True, but this price point isn't aiming at someone building a top tier rig.
Also unless you are running top tier GPUs, you will not notice more than a few percent difference. And with PCIe 4.0 SSDs vs 3.0 SSDs, you may notice a small difference, but most difference will be in benchmarking and not big in real world usage.
Agreed. That CPU is arguably the best budget option at the moment.
@Bargainsforlife: Disagree/ - you should be able to pick up the 5600 for ~$180. That extra 40 bucks is way worth it.
@Gamer Dad Reviews: Cheapest at the moment for a 5600 is $196 which almost $60 extra. And if you're running a GPU that doesnt have PCIe 4.0, the 5500 is perfectly fine. But in terms of future proofing at a low cost, definitely get 5600.
Whats the big fuss over this PCIe 4.0? Why not just get a 12100f with a h610-m and call it a day for a budget build

same price
i think is a good basic board… 4 ram slots, 4 sata. 2 nvme slots
not the best thing, far from the worst, 3.6
