This is my first time posting an Amazon deal so hopefully I have done it all correctly.
$10.50 for a 1kg jar of Nutella ($1.05 /100 g) is the best I've seen, beating Coles lowest price of $11 and Woolworths of $12.

How much is the one from Italy?
Around $20/kg & it can be found in most Italian continental/grocery stores.
https://ladispensa.com.au/products/nutella-900g-made-in-ital…
Not sure why all the down votes.. Nutella in Italy tastes much better IMO.
Not sure why all the down votes
Too many uneducated kids around who give no contribution to the discussion but they know how to show their frustration, maybe friends and shockpuppets too.
The one from Italy I think it's around $12-13 right now.$12-13 for what quantity??
@Embaloo: 1Kg.
@billadm: Whereabouts?
@Embaloo: As I said above, it depends on where you're located so look for local Italian grocery stores.
But there is Mediterraneo in Brunswick on Sydney road, a Chinese owned grocery store in Pascoe Vale on Pascoe Vale road, another one in Thomastown on High Street, another Italian store in Lalor etc. etc.
Completely agree. The Australian produced version of Nutella literally tastes like a terrible discount brand in comparison to the Nutella made in Italy.
I recommend checking out Nutino hazelnut spread instead from Woolworths. More hazelnut than chocolate. Not as good as Italian Nutella but better than Aussie Nutella.
I buy the one from Italy which has a glass jar <—- where from please?
where from
It depends on where you live so you have to look for Italian grocery stores because they usually don't sell online.
Do you mean Italian Nutella, or something similar that’s made in Italy?
Yes.
And it's actually pronounced 'Nutella' in ItalyIs it pronounced as 'Nutella' or 'Nutella'?
@CrispyChrispy: 'Nutella'
Overpriced, the home brand Nutino from Aldi is cheaper per 100g and tastes the same.
They don't taste the same, Nutino tastes better, more like hazelnut in my opinion.
Wouldnt that be better being a hazelnut spread?
That’s exactly what he wrote “Nutino tastes better”
note i didnt neg you.
@aec: Note not me either so not sure why I got a neg..
You can also get Nutino from Woolworths. Generally cheaper and tastes pretty good to me. Both of them probably have the same amount of palm oil
Wrong.
nutino doesnt have crappy palm oil also i dont think
Nutino uses soy extract and vegetable oil instead of palm oil, which both tastes worse and is more unhealthy.
I honestly cant taste the difference…..
Nutino fans are honestly kidding themselves. The price is better and that’s it.
Cheaper per kilo than 3kg buckets!
This is just sugar and chocolate in a jar right? Tastes awesome but can't be healthy at all
Yep sugar makes up the majority of it followed by fat. extremely unhealthy, but yeah tastes good.
There’s probably some hazelnut in there too.
Is there a nut free version for those with allergies, but not yet diabetic?
A nut-free choc hazelnut spread?
@hotphil: That's probably the case… Yet another cost cutting measure… Chocolate bars are getting more expensive, while the weight keeps shrinking… Why not have a nut-free hazelnut spread?
It's only 56% sugar according to the ingredients!
Anything taste good is not healthy for your body ;p
This is the best way to visualise the ingredients. Really makes you second guess sitting down with a jar and snacking away.
Who am I kidding it does nothing of the sort.
The wifey will help me eat this, and she doesn’t even eat Nutella
$12 at woolies, does this ever go 1/2 off at woolies?
Yeah when the expiry is next month lol
Nutella @ Aldi is $9.99 for 900g, so slightly more /g, talk about made for a price point!
In the era of mass obesity (and my weight isn't great), something which helped me stop eating stuff like this and things like Milo was a picture or video somewhere showing the ingredients as raw piles where it's basically just all sugar, and then some other stuff. I wouldn't eat a pile of raw sugar, and mixing in a few other things which change the appearance doesn't really change much.
I find looking at old photos helps. If i thought i was ugly then, then old me should see me now.
And if you want to stop eating meat do you look at a picture of Daisy, Shaun, and Porky?
Yes actually, living near a cow farm a few years ago and hearing them crying at night completely turned me off meat and dairy too. It was haunting hearing them scream and shriek, and reading about how they take the calves away as soon as they're born to be slaughtered and keep them in perpetual pregnancy to have them lactating, to the point their bodies break, then kill them when no longer useful, turned me from a huge dairy drinker and meat eater to vegetarian when it clicked what I was a part of.
For me it was getting half my pancreas removed. This stuff will make me violently sick for a couple of hours which shows how sugar loaded and bad on the body it is. Sometimes it's almost worth the risk when the cravings kick in.
The best chocolate uses Cocoa oil as per my friend who has a cafe
Meanwhile the foodservice 3kg buckets are about $45, literally more expensive than Colesworth at regular price
FREE Prime delivery 19 September - 2 October
Usually dispatched within 2 to 4 weeksThanks for the suggestion. But that's quite a long wait.
I think that is entirely based on your location. Mine shows same day delivery.
but considering a dispatch timeframe of 2-4 weeks, it' like saying they don't have it yet and it will take up to a month for them to send it.
so when they do send it, it would take only 1-2 days from dispatch for it to arrive here.
I get what you’re saying but I what I mean was when I posted this, it was same day delivery. My order was personally next day delivery. I ordered at 10:40am, it was dispatched 12:55am this morning, arrived at my place 11:57am.
I did just check the listing again and it now shows 20 September-2 October so they probably sold out and are waiting on more stock now.
I think the Coles brand version tastes pretty much exactly the same and only $6 for a kilo. The ingredients list is almost identical and even lists the same percentage of hazelnuts. I've stopped buying the branded version.
No its not, I dont like it… but the aldi stuff is alright.
if you dont want to wait and near a bigw, you can pick up this deal there
https://www.bigw.com.au/product/nutella-hazelnut-chocolate-s…1kg is waaay too much for us, it’ll turn hard and unspreadable before we get to then end…
thats what she said
scoop out into mug. microwave with milk. wash body with it.
Aldi’s Bramwells Nutella brand is almost identical and easier to spread and my kids can’t tell the difference. Pretty sure it’s only 62cents / 100grams too.
Got this for 5 bucks once at Aldi. Hell of a week that was
If your parents didn’t let you shovel this into your mouth straight out of the jar, they didn’t really love you
Not decided to buy yet but got free prime trial for a month :)
It’s all crap both Italy and Aussie versions.
That's just a matter of taste
Same price at bigw
https://www.bigw.com.au/product/nutella-hazelnut-chocolate-s…Nicely spotted! And not a 2-4 week wait as with what Amazon suggest (at least to WA)
Done - got it from Big W today. Thanks again!
I don't know if they ran out of their usual product or if it's standard
I saw a san churro serve their chocolate from a Nutella jar once
What is this exactly? A spread made of hazelnuts? Is it some kind of health food?
No, but I mix it with the 100% Almond spread to make it healthier…
Hazelnuts and cocoa.
Ha lol no. It's just very tasty for those who like hazelnut chocolate spread. It's very popular in Europe
Maybe it will help fatten skinny kids up
Hi I’m excitedly intrigued to ask where and when you grew up?
I thought it was common knowledge that Nutella has different versions depending on countries. Australian is more milky, Italian more hazelnuts, and Canadian more chocolate. While the base flavour is almost the same, the real truth is that gianduja spread is superior and gianduja as a base flavour in gelato etc is nicer.
To save people searching, Costco have a 2 x 1kg for $19.99.
This is still pretty good being free delivered with prime membershipNormal price is $9.99 at Aldi all the time for 1 kilo.
No, Aldi sell 900g for $9.99. That is $1.11 per 100g.
Those sneaky bastards!
At 2 PM 08-Sep-2023 (Fri), it shows "Currently unavailable (We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock)".
And where the oil came from and where is the certification? LOL
I buy the one from Italy which has a glass jar while the one made in Australia has a plastic jar.
I can tell the taste is different also when you open the one made in Australia it has oil on top.
