Roborock Map Issues on Android App

Ladies & gentlemen of frugal proclivities,

I'm experiencing frequent issues with my Roborock vacuum's map not loading on my mobile app. It's just stuck on " Map loading"…

The vacuum's internal map still functions properly because it still cleans according to the schedules I've set up previously.

But not having access to the app on my device is very frustrating because I can't manually let it clean anywhere.

I am using the Xiaomi Home app and yes, I have tried clearing app storage/logging in again.

Any help appreciated

I believe the robot sends the map to the phone each time - have you tried power cycling the robot?

  I did not know that! Thought it loads from the cloud.

I have this happen to me when using the roborock app, usually restarting the app fixes the problem.

Mine (android) has also starting freezing at 'Map Loading'. I restart the app and it works.

Annoying as it worked perfectly in the past.

I've had my S7 Plus muck up the app a couple of time. Mapping the house all wrong and adding extra rooms. He got lost in teh hosue and couldn't find his home base. I deleted the map. It was easier for him to start over
