How to Search for Direct Flights?

Ok, I am defeated. Been trying to find out what direct flights are there, flying out of Brisbane between now and the rest of the year. Have tried Google Flights, SkyScanner, Google and even ChatGPT! The only probable link is from a Mob who wants me to join their paid subscription!

I know as a matter of fact in recent times there had been announcements such as Vietnam and Guangzhou. I even logged into the respective airlines and put in the relevant dates. Was successful with Viet but not China Southern.

We are not fuss where we are going but just want a direct flight!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Google.com.au/flights add departing airport and click "explore" then you can filter the direct flights on the map screen

Direct = 0 Stop. You just have to put that as a search criteria on Google Flight.

  • stops = 0 or tick direct

this is just a search filter option

Try the WIkipedia entry for BNE

    https://www.bne.com.au/passenger/flights/direct-destinations

There are 21 direct international destinations currently flown to from BNE

    LOL. took 2 seconds

  • With Skyscanner if you look to the left there is a click option to only select direct flights.

Use kiwi.com, put the departure city and can then specify countries. Can instantly go on to departure date and it displays prices for a month. You can select direct and cheapest and it will display that. Certain departure cities will not have direct flights. Think you have to fly out of sydney or get to singapore or KL, then get a connecting flight.

it sounds like there is no way to find direct flights. just holiday at home

https://www.flightconnections.com/ is useful to visualise all the direct flights from an airport.

    https://www.flightconnections.com/flights-from-brisbane-bne

Second result in google when googling 'direct flights from BNE'.

  • Direct does not mean non-stop.

Non-stop means no stopover, direct means it can have a stopover and carry on with the same aircraft and/or flight number.

For example QF1 is direct Sydney-London via Singapore.
