Portable Travel Baggage Luggage Scale 32KG
$4.98+1.98 Postage, pickup is available
Planning to travel this Christmas? How do you ensure maximum baggage allowance while avoiding excess baggage charges?

The answer is simple, use a scale! But no, not any scale. You need a special baggage scale designed just for that! And that is exactly what this item is.

    Why ?

  • I have two different digital luggage scales and the cord handle actually makes them difficult to use. This looks like a much better design.

Can the Rep provide the dimensions and mass of these scales?

  • Is it 22kg or 32kg max?
It says both on the ebay listing

  • Sorry
    It's 32kg

  • the same one is available from hk with free delivery (waiting time might be longer though)

Portable??!! Goodness, looks like a giant fish monger scale!

Try these 40KG scales that are smaller than a pack of cards and under $3….I've carried mine everywhere (when flying) over the years and they work perfectly!

    • Thanks, I've just purchased one of these for my next overseas trip.

  • aren't digital ones around the same price? even aldi flog them off for around that price eg http://www.aldi.com.au/au/html/offers/2827_19686.htm

  • Can't beat AusPost freebie scale last year.

    • whaaaa! i missed out!

  • It's a little bit ironic that you need the scales when flying to make sure you haven't gone over your limit, yet by having them it will mean your luggage will weigh more.

    • Not if they're small enough to put in your pocket

      • my pockets are already full with my wallet, phone, etc when flying. The last thing I need is some scales in my pocket!

    • So give it away just before your last sector. :)

"2. Pickups: Please note, Pickup (sic) is NOT Available (sic) for this item…"

  • Actually, its a fair point about the grip especially if your bags usually weigh more than 15kg.
OP: Does it have that black grip handle like it shows in main photo? The one in description doesn't have it.

I once had that model. It was crap. It was hard to get a heavy bag to catch onto the hook. I've since bought a digital one that has a strap and is smaller, more portable, does 50KG and is heaps better.

But it is about $5 more expensive (not sure if this is the exact one but it looks like it) - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/40KG-Portable-Digital-Travel-Lugg…

    • nothing a piece of rope won't fix for small hooks. or a $1 carabiner ring

  • Bought the exact same scale from a $2 dollar store a few years ago for a dollar something. Has the same label and everything. I actually still have it sitting in a pile with a few other luggage scales I've acquired over the years and I can safely say that this is one of the worst luggage scales that I've picked up.

The scale always read about 2.5-4kg under the actual weight. If you're travelling on a plane, this is obviously a major issue since there are weight restrictions.

This particular scale wasn't very practical either because the hook is small and angled weirdly and most bags have handles bigger than what can fit on the hook so the bag just slides right off the hook.

Also doesn't have a grip to hold on to so those with soft hands won't like this one.
