    I was going to buy power DVD as i had a media PC (P4) that couldn't play Full HD content.(CPU usage sky rocked… )

    chucked a test version on and all of a sudden, played flawlessly and CPU usage went down to about 5-10% as it offloaded it correctly to the GPU…

    tried the hardware rendering in VLC and a few other players and they didn't seem to do it. (using XP)

    almost bought a copy but didn't have that much fullhd content… ended up with a smart TV and PS3 and not using it as a media center anymore.
    (just sayin CyeberLink products seem pretty decent)

    Power Director has been my favourite video Editing Software for many years. It's powerful and it's easy to learn how to use it. Unlike some other programs it is user friendly.
