Paired with Gorilla Glass 5 to prevent screen cracks. This tablet can act as a power bank too with its 10800mAh battery supporting two-way 18W charging.

If there is a case for this, please let it be called the Doogee Houser

    (I'm so sorry…. I couldn't resist….it was just there)

    • I feel old. lol

  • Good value for the $$$

I am not so sure it is that great for outdoors which is a shame. Says 340 nit brightness.
We use 500 nit ipads and they are still hard to use outdoors.

    Anyone use one outdoors?

    • 340 nits will almost certainly be unuseable outdoors based on my old Android phones I used to have that were rated at 400 nits.

Anyone else read this as "dodgy"?
Hopefully it's not dodgy by name and dodgy by nature… That's the problem with all these generic knockoffs

People gave been saying dodgy for over 10 years for this brand. Too late now for a name change. The real question is what is it a generic knock off of?

      • Yeah, my bad - a simple search of previous deals shows that DOOGEE has been around for a while.
I was thinking a generic knock-off of just any Chinese branded android tablet who are trying to make a name for themselves.
The market there is huge for lesser-known brands, so long as they fulfill the customer's required purpose.

  • Hi @Clear, what tablet would you recommend for my 2 year old, primarily used for watching ABC kids and some learning games?

We have a S6 Lite for our 6 year old which he has had for a while, and now our youngest is starting to use it so I would like to get him his own.

I'm not 100% sure on going 8inch or 10inch, I think 10inch would be fine if there is a suitable case. (We use the kid "handle" cases you see everywhere for S6 Lite)

I have been looking at Blackview Tab 11 and also the iPlay 50.

Your expert guidance would be greatly appreciated!!

  • This, or the iPad Pro?

      10 of these ofcourse.

  • I think the only downsize is 70% body to screen ratio and bulky
other than that it tick all the boxes required.
