    The cheap fake ones do not give any protection to the front of the phoone, ie the sides stop ~0.5mm short of the front glass face, whereas the opena one extends slightly past the edge to give "some" drop protection.
    General finish & material is better

  I wonder what kind of force this applies to the glass back of an iPhone 4, I like a beer but not at the cost of breaking my iphone. Just break the neck of the bottle on something hard and strain the shards of glass through your teeth…

  Unless you seriously drink alot and don't wanna carry a separate bottle opener, I really can't see why anyone would want this.
  1) It will add significant thickness and weight to the phone.
  2) If you lend your bottle opener, you have to keep track of where it goes as it is potentially a thousand dollar bottle opener!.
  3) You'll be hoping everytime you open a bottle that someone didn't shake it before passing to you.
