I was looking out for a USB-C Hub and this is so far the best I've come across, a comparable one I was eyeing was this Baseus one, but it's $58.61 for the 8-port 4K@60Hz.

Use discount code or click the coupon button for additional $4.50 off at the moment.

Just be careful if you are specifically getting this for 4k@60Hz. You will need compatible hardware with the right features.

DisplayPort 1.4 on the output port, DisplayPort 1.4 on the monitor and the monitor supporting HBR3 with DSC.

If any of that is missing… 30Hz.

    • But this one is HDMI.

      • +3

If you crack it open it will have a DP to HDMI converter internally.

It needs DP 1.4 because then it only needs to take up two lanes on the USB C plug, which means then they can actually have some hope of providing what they advertise, i.e. 4K@60 with USB 3.1 ports and a Gigabit port.

        • Would it drive a screen like my Philips 328P6V from this deal at 60 Hz? It has HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort. And, DisplayPort 1.2 is capable of 4K @ 60Hz.

          • @samlor: Depends if the output from your device is DisplayPort 1.4. It must have a DP to HDMI converter in the hub that converts the signal to a HDMI one, which must be HDMI 2.0 in order to support 4K@60Hz.

Very good hub but this is really a $6-8 discount. RRP is BS.

    • I bet they never sold (or attempted to sell) one at that price..

    • Agree the RRP is actually $49.95. They would lie their teeth out at 99.95

      So you only save $9.50

  • I have been trying few docks with my old MacBook. Only the apple usb c av multi adapter hdmi can output the correct resolution and refresh rate.
EBay have one seller is selling for 34.99 before coupons. If anyone is interested.

I haven't used this hub, but I've consistently found UGREEN products to be good value. Learned the hard lesson buying random chinese brands, but UGREEN seem to be a tier above - never had any cables give me flickering or bad signals, and in-car chargers have worked well.
(Not affiliated just my personal opinion, I might even buy this hub)

I have this hub for almost a year now and very happy with it. Not using on 60hz as laptop doesn't support it, but I have tested it and it works on another one.

  • Thanks… I need a hub for a Macbook Air M2, have ordered and will start with this one. Cheers.

Purchased this around six months ago to use with my Steam Deck and it's been great. Easy to use and high quality.

  • CCwgTV overkill?

  • I bought Ugreen usb hub like this before. It will do strange things like repeat a key on the keyboard without you pressing.

Yes it's the dock. Because it works fine with Anker brand or without the dock.

    I would avoid

I ended up getting a refund luckily Amazon was easy to deal with

Currently have this, but only using on a 60Hz 1080p monitor with a Macbook air. Bought it earlier this year for around $50, so it is not actually on a massive discount. Haven't had an issues with it yet and it doesn't get too hot either. Good value, couldn't find anything similar for the same price, all the ports work fine.
