Learned after watching TV last night that bone china is actually made from ground up animal bones. True story.

    • Bone china is a type of soft-paste porcelain that is composed of bone ash, feldspathic material and kaolin. It has been defined as ware with a translucent body containing a minimum of 30% of phosphate derived from animal bone and calculated calcium phosphate. Developed by English potter Josiah Spode, bone china is known for its high levels of whiteness and translucency, and very high mechanical strength and chip resistance.

'twas a great show. I feel so silly never even having a second thought to the name "fine bone" china before. Everyone take a moment to remember how awesome cows are!

  • Myer have 40% and 50% off dinnerware all the time. Same with DJs. If they sell this set then it is not so special.

Poor quality pictures, warehouse like presentation and unable to zoom on details. Best of luck in improving your online business.

You could say it looks similar to Logitechshop which people on here seem to cream themselves over, so the appearance isn't always the bee all and end all.

      Compare:

      http://www.kitchenstyle.com.au/cookware.html
      http://www.logitechshop.com.au/products

      • These products sell on details where a nice little design around the edges may make it unique and distinctly different from another set of crockery. It is a deal breaker especially as comparitive crockery performs essentially the same task. You should be selling the dream not the product.

  • which people on here seem to cream themselves over

    Uh-oh…

No more unwanted mugs or cups and saucers.

..where oh where shall the cream go now?
