Wondering if anyone has recently come across a good and reasonably priced i7 (Gen 11, 12 or the likes), 16Gb, 1TB or similar?
Prefer HP, but open to other suggestions…
Needing to either collect and collect or pick up from retailer (unless shipped same day) in Sydney region…
Any recommendations?
Have been looking at OW, JB, TGG, MSY, Scorptec, etc… Cant seem to find much at all…

Firstly, are you aware that the typical 13th Gen i5 is faster than the 12th Gen i7 as used in most laptops?

Yep, reason for i7 over i5 - core count/threads. But otherwise, reasonable mention. Thanks… :)
Reasonable - in that bracket… $1.5k under… Prefer closer to the $1k mark for this system. Only has really 1 use/purpose… Have other devices for other use cases…
Main issue is finding something for collection/delivery tomorrow…

Both also carry a large range of HP laptops but the majority of HP's starter range have crappy 250nit screens
Did you try HP's online store? They sell refurbs at discounted prices.
