Opinions on Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 2

I have been looking at the ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 Laptops and wanted some opinions. From what I have seen the Gen 2 is the last with both network port and SD card reader but it has a gen 3 SSD.
Will be using linux OS with windows in VM running AutoCad.
Any feedback on negative and positives, Intel vs AMD.

    Maybe asking in r/thinkpad? Bought a ThinkPad T14 Gen 3 AMD for wife back in May, and it's running Win11. Typical ThinkPad T-series — it felt solid but boring.

      Thanks for the reply, will check it out, I did look at the ThinkPad T14 Gen 3 that your wife got but the one I found had no network cable port :( It seems the newer laptops all have something missing in order to make them lighter.

      So many Lenovo models that is very confusing, have no idea about the letters in the name, I read the X1 carbon is a popular choice. Might start another thread for business laptop recommendations with the specs I need.

        ThinkPad T-series having no network port?! Blasphemous :)

        Here's a link to T14 Gen 3 AMD Ports & Slots and ethernet is (4), first port on the left hand side.

          Ah sorry my mistake, this one had no SD card. All my files are on 1TB SD so I can move them to another computer if needed.
