Recommendations for Car Window Tinting in Perth? 2023

I know this has been posted before, but the posts seem to be a few years old.

Did anyone have any recommendations for window tinting in Perth?

Got quotes of $425 from Tint a Car for their darkest legal Octane Tint, $295 for the Car Tint man in Canning Vale (seems to have good Google reviews). Has anyone used the Car Tint man or are there any other recommendations? TKO Tinting was like $415 for their cheapest one.

      Surcharge applies for all European vehicles (i.e. BMW, AUDI, MERCEDES, VOLVO, PORSCHE, FERRARI, MASERATI, CITROEN, LAMBORGHINI.) All Tesla models and large cars (station wagons, 4WDs, people movers, buses, SUVs, vans etc); enquire with Total Tint Solutions before purchase

      Looks like OP drives an SUV?

      Personally, I wouldn't touch a Groupon company

    Something to be aware of, is quoted costs on websites are often the minimum - usually for a 2 door ute with two side windows and a rear window. Depending on your car - expect to pay +$100 more for a sedan or hatchback.

      Yeah I heard they are good was quoted $415 for darkest legal tint, wondering if I can find a better deal from an also reputable tinter

      Used TKO for my wifes car about 5 years ago, no issues at all. Highly recommend

    1. The price heavily depends on the type and brand of the film. Ceramic film usually costs more than carbon film but totally worth it.

    2. Carefully check reviews of the tint shop. You don't want to see a lot of bubbles after just a few months.
      For example, staff at Tint A Car are often interns so don't expect a good job. If they're skilful enough they will quit and open their own shop and tint more carefully to have return customers.

    I had 'Darkest Legal Tint' put on my camry 5yrs ago at TintaCar Burswood for ~$650. They had good reviews at the time. It's outside all day everyday, only the small triangles on rear have "slipped down" a few mm which may be from a detailer? I got Suzuki Gardner to apply tint when purchasing another car, it warped & rippled in 6months….
