Are There Different eBay Codes When Buying Items from International Sellers?

Just made a purchase of $280 aud (of which $50 was postage and gst) and can't get any codes to work which are listed here. Wondering if it's because I'm purchasing from a seller overseas even though I've still gone through ebay Australia.

It's a second hand item from a regular seller, not a store, so that could be it too. However if anyone has a code that can provide a small discount I'll gladly take it. Thank you!

    Most eBay codes are for 'selected items' and don't work for international or private sellers.

    The code with least restrictions is the one from signing up to ebay.

    But still make sure you read through the exclusion list, comments around eligibility, and know that you won't get the code til mid-September

    Used to be. It was outrageous when it was across all platforms.

    Thats all gone now sadly.
