10 Rolls of Kingroon PETG (or PLA) $105.59 (with 20% off) + Delivery @ Kingroon 3D Printer eBay

TCH20

Original Coupon Deal

Other combinations, materials and colours may change the pricing but I bought 10 rolls of transparent PETG and it came down to just over $10 a roll, which is excellent.

Unlike some of the Ali express and website stores the eBay ratings are excellent and you’re covered by eBay protection anyway.

Best of all they have transparent in stock.

You can do your own homework, but so far I can confirm:

10x transparent PETG = $105.59
10x random PETG = $119.99

After discount and with free shipping(I’m in Sydney FWIW).

  • Any reviews on the quality of these? Any issues with tangled rolls or print quality due to not being dry out of the box?

    • +2

Bought one of each colour PETG a while back. Got the colours I wanted. When dried they printed well, as good as my StandardPrintCo PETG using the same settings.

Whether it was poor packaging, poor handling by auspost, some rolls needed drying after I left them in the hallway closet (still sealed in their vacuum packaging) for a month.

      • Tempted to try their PETG, just curious are the colored ones you received transparent or solid?

        • +1

They're all opaque except the colourless transparent one.

          • @OZKap: Nice, thank you, just placed an order for some random colors PETG to try out

  • +1

$20 shipping for me in Brisbane.

I got 5x rolls of PLA from them and mentioned the exact colours I wanted as part of the order notes. Also specifically said that if they couldn't do those colours… then to cancel my order and refund it immediately. Nek minute, they shipped the wrong colours anyway (3/5 colours incorrect). After some back and forth… they agreed to refund me $20 and I keep the whole order. So far it's been about 2 days since coming to that agreement and there's been no further replies nor refund. So yeh, beware.

I can imagine, last time I ordered random colours and they all came quickly and I think I got one of each - no duplicates in a 10 pack.

Special requests might complicate it, sucks to hear your experience but seems like if your order is standard you should have no issues.

      At $10 a roll it’s crazy cheap.

  • +1

Only 10 rolls of transparent in petg come to this price, the rest are $149 - 30 + 18 shipping.
    DECEPTIVE POST

    • +1

Don’t know why you’re getting $18, they all show free shipping for me to metro Sydney.

I did say colours and combinations may vary the price, but most of them are a good deal

      • Likely the usual postcodes that incur additional postage - FNQ, Perth etc.

    • Did you enter the code? I selected random colour and it was $119

    • I dunno, my 10 rolls of black delivered was 119

I ordered 10 rolls and I had bad experience with them and other than customer service horror, the filaments themselves are also not that great filaments which I don't want to use it again. I am using X1C with ams. eSun or Sunlu are way better. Even some nameless way cheaper filaments are better than this one. I am printing mainly pla so don't know about the quality of other materials from kingloon.

    • Did you dry it inside the X1C first? Someone else said they needed to dry theirs

      • I have filament dryer and dried 6hrs.

    • I'm using their petg with the AMS no problem so far. Gone through about a dozen rolls.
      What problem do you have?

      • Even low chamber temp, it stucks in the extruder and caused jam many times. Other brands never caused. Adhesion is poor even after dried it many hours but other brands (esun, sunlu, bambu lab) no problem. And its calibration test value always changed (even in the same roll) means it might have lot of impurities inside. it grinds down ams insert hole way faster than other brands. I have many reasons to avoid this kingloon. If you are just a casual hobby 3d print guy and cool about messup your print and printer, just get a cheapest filament.

    • What do you recommend?

      • You have to decide depends on what printer you have, what purpose of 3d printing you are doing but I would not buy kingloon, if you are tempting, dont buy 10 rolls, just buy less amount and if you dont get any problems, then order more.

    • I have printed almost an entire roll out of my previous order, as others have set they do seem a bit wet so would be worth drying.
One of my spools was underweight, however otherwise i've had very little issue. In fact they are VERY well spooled, almost perfectly so.

I had issues with eSun spools getting tanlged before but I do think the filament quality is better.

  • Running this in my machine atm, seems fine? half way through a roll of black.
Shipping was mad fast, got here in two days (melb).
This seems to be the same stuff that on Aliexpress. This seems to be around the same price but for local stock- happy with it so far!

    • My aliexpress never came and now I'm in a never ending battle of talk to the courier and me being like but I have…

They also have 10 random 1kg rolls PLA with code drops to $96.79

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/155609917247?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mk…

    • Damn, that's tempting.

    • Thanks! Got this deal. Need filament for when I'm prototyping/testing. So this is perfect as I don't care what colour it is just as long as it is cheap! $9.7 per roll is crazy.

    • +1

When it says random, I'm assuming that doesn't guarantee that there won't be repeat colours, right?

      • Each roll is different, you will get 10 colors with the 10 random rolls pack.

      • Can confirm, received 10 different random colours.

    • Wish I'd seen this comment before going for random 10 PLA rolls on the original deal, got 10x random PLA and 10x random PETG off that… but oops, looks like I now have 30kgs on its way… Grabbed another 10kgs ;)

Been using this on both my Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro and Bambu Labs P1P with no issues

What settings have you changed for the PLA on your bambu printer? This filament is stringing pretty bad on my P1S. Dropped temp to 210 and that helped a little bit.

        • Same here, I tweaked retractions but ain't helping, still has a bit of stringing, so thinking might need to dry them before use as someone mentioned.

          • @sk50: Oof ok, I might skip this.
So far just doing PLA I haven't needed to dry any filament and only silk has given me stringing until I dialled it in.
Although the generic silk profile worked out of the box with the P1S

            • +1

@theguyrules: Yep, totally agree, me neither, bambulab did a pretty good job, and the preset just works, even for TPU. I literally just boxed up the dryer few weeks ago, need to get it out again.. I've gone through 3 rolls of black, 1 red, half-ish blue so far, now I'm just hoping the dryer could get rid of the minor stringing, cost per kg is just too good

            • +1

@theguyrules: Pla you can really get away without drying unless you live in a swamp.

Ive printed 6 year old pla without issue.

              Other filaments, though….

        • Just using the stock "Generic PLA" profile in Bambu studio and have had no real issues.

Have had some stringing on some prints but nothing major enough for me to bother tweaking it.

          • @chaosjester: Prints fine at ludicrous speed on the P1P too which is nice. Smashing out some gridfinity bits at the moment.

This is the real deal, great find! Free shipping to Perth too instead of $18 on the original.

    • +1

Cheers. Got a pack. $96.79 shipped!

    • Got my 10 rolls delivered to WA today, put a message in order if I could get 3 black rolls and to my surprise I did! My last order of 10 random rolls from same seller they came in a box saying something in lines of "pre packed do not re pack bla bla bla" (got 10 different rolls then) so wasn't that hopeful.

The listing have now been updated with $18 shipping. At least for me in Perth.

      • $20 to Brisbane, there ya go

      • Good to know! I requested 5 black in my random order, so we'll see!

        • I received 5 black, 2 grey, yellow, orange, white.
          Awesome!

      • +2

Yep, got my 10 random PLA to WA today too. Has a big sticker on it "This is a set do not separate". I am happy with the mix of colours, black, white, grey, orange, silver, transparent, red, green, yellow, blue. Have put the black in to do a 6 hour print with my usual PLA settings on my dialled in Ender 3 V2, it has put the first layer down with no issues so far, I'll see how it turns out.
