Maybe to pay for the 10 part tv series (https://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-radio/1765286/DREAMZzz-…) and Ed Sheeran promoting it in store? (https://www.iheartradio.ca/news/ed-sheeran-works-shift-at-th…)
They're working with the same production company they used for the Ninjago series, so imagine the financials would be similar. A single PR stunt with Ed Sheeran wouldn't be enough to justify these prices.
I think they're just hoping that everyone has gotten used to the prices of DC/Marvel/Star Wars/Disney sets and think they can get away with the same pricing on Dreamzzz, which is crazy. It's not like LEGO was cheap to begin with.
They understand their target demographic, yeah.
Any bargains or just 20% off full RRP?
Most likely just RRP, there are things that don't go on special. If you stack with 5% egift card and 10% everyday +, it's not bad if you need something and have been holding out
Too bad some are online only and they have removed the everyday extra discount on online purchases. Otherwise I would’ve bought a couple of sets
10% everyday +
Thanks, I might get the 30 day trial
Still too expensive
Ah yes, Spring, when everyone needs Lego..
I needed 10 words :/
It's my almost 8-year-old's birthday on Saturday. So yep, need Lego discounts now. 👇
do they sell any large creator sets?
Www.bigw.com.au, search lego creator
interested in getting the new Sonic LEGO sets.
For 20%off don’t think will be anything value to purchase, might purchase the Disney villain if it’s available
Don’t see any mention of 20% off LEGO….
It's there now mate
Lego up house back at $69.20 , wish I got the deal on Amazon for $55 😅
Stack with ShopBack 15% Westpac cash back
LEGO Super Mario The Mighty Bowser 71411 Sale: 287.20 RRP: 399.00 28% off.
(Slightly) cheaper than the best ever price at Amazon (which was $288 in Nov 2022)

I signed up for an Everyday+ trial that ends tomorrow. I can't figure out how the 10% extra discount gets applied. Can anyone help?
Edit: Just realised the extra 10% is for in store. My big W is 150km away :(
Think these prices are online only
sets are all so boring these days.
Big W website says two days only. It is ridiculous to say two days and not say when it starts or ends.
Explains why the prices I saw on new sets on the weekend weren't great.
(also why are Dreamzzz sets priced like 3rd party licensed sets by LEGO? the pricing should be similar to Ninjago, they don't have the added expense of paying WB or Disney for the license)
