Where to Buy Wholesale Bulk Lollies?

I have a new gumball machine (M&M and smaties) for my mancave and wondering where gumball machine suppliers get their lolly stock from? Or is it just as easy/cheap to wait for supermarkets specials?

Be interested to know where supermarkets get their stock of loose lollies from too?

    Costco?

Tame mancave if you don't fill it with XTC tablets.

    • I will have to see how the price per kilo works out. Thanks

    • Thanks, those buckets seem to be the best option at a retail price (regularly $12 at Kmart/BigW)…will have to look into some wholesalers too to see if they will let me use my ABN.

It's a bit of a misconception that wholesalers are cheaper, generally they're more convenient why buying a whole lot of stock rather than waiting for a supermarket sale (because you can't negotiate a nationwide discount with a wholesaler, supermarkets can).

    • Makes me miss these $5 1kg bags. Sadly they've gone so downhill recently.

gumballs are prob from alibaba, its 99% sugar, prob got 10 year shelf life.

  • Buy a cheap airline ticket to Melbourne. A few minutes up the road from Tullamarine Airport is the biggest lollie shop in the world.

Lol. It's just down the road from jv's. I swing past here every Friday for snacks on the card table.

        Otherwise it looks like this

So, we follow the signs with the bold writing?

    • Thanks for the link. $18.90 for 1kg is good but even the buckets at Kmart/BigW generally go for around $12 ( sometimes $8 at xmas) for 640 grams = 18.75 per kilo so I will keep an eye out for them.

  • Half price at Woolies.
How many kilos do you need? (It goes stale you know).

With me and 3 teenagers they wont go stale…

Do lollies actually go stale? Hard to believe.

      • +2

They absolutely do. Even just a few months in a sealed bag can turn fresh soft candy into harder, tougher candy. Rock candy takes years but the flavour does change even if the texture doesn't.

Can you put something inside behind the lollies so it looks full? Also thinking they will go stale.

    • I like this idea, thanks

Have you tried $2 shops like ‘The Base Warehouse’? I’ve never done the math but they have bucketloads of stuff.

  • The ones around me sell name brands for similar price to KMart/BigW but thanks
