Kindle Fire HD, Worth It? or Anything Else from Amazon.de?

I might be able to get a Kindle fire HD from Germany as got a mate coming from over there.

Is it worth it though from a bargain perspective?

EDIT: What about other stuff from amazon.de, anything worth getting?

IMHO, no. Just get a nexus 7. The beauty of kindle is with the paperwhite and e ink tech. As for being a regular lcd 7in tablet of kindle fire, it gets trumped by nexus7 or even galaxy tab 7.7.

  yeah nexus is good but still want larger storage than 16GB :(

    get one of the ainol tablets, theyre pretty good, only thing i could fault about them is lower battery life and touch screen quality not as good
