raw chicken / fish smell
Not if washed properly?
Handling foods that stain or spicy foods as well.
@currentfad: 😲
Said the prostate exam patient never
These aren't medical grade.
Sensitive skin
Why not just say comments out loud instead of posting them here for negs?
I upvoted jv's comment rather than rant. But then decided I wanted to rant anyway. If you're…
…you're a hero and this deal is for you. If not, jv is right. These things are an environmental disaster and people have been preparing food safely without them for literally millennia. Even the sensitive skin argument is dubious - these are lightly powdered and you'd probably get better results by sourcing some suitable dishwashing gloves.
We can and have gotten improved environmental outcomes with little inconvenience and minor changes (think LED lights or banning CFCs). But we can't get improved environmental outcomes with no inconvenience and no changes. Come on people!
There's a joke in there somewhere about a deal for a thousand condoms.
It's 100 gloves, not 100 pairs. Or are you assuming that ozbargainers turn them inside out to enable reuse?
Oh… assumed pairs… but inside out is even better. :)
They’re washable
@jv: Reminds me of this wash house in Vietnam a while back. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-54284355.amp
@Gravy: 😳
lol the thumbnail looks goofy
If you cut the fingers off you can use them as really cheap doggie bags for cocaine/heroin
Why does the thumbnail have a Woolies logo overlaid on the gloves?
Sabco @Bunnings has their equivalent for 10$ but I had already gotten these at woolies earlier. Been using the sabco purple nitrile for a while and they're getting thinner - arghhh! Kamehameha
Lightly Powdered - ew. Prefer the non-powdered version. Have to wash hands after the powdered ones which kinda defeats the whole purpose of the gloves for me.
For cleaning, food service, hair dying, phone repair etc these are fine. However, these aren't the best when working on cars.
Is "Fresh" an important feature of gloves?
Why not just wash your hands?
