This is an awesome service. It is as simple as Dropbox but much more useful. It's a bit more useful than SugarSync, and more simple. :-)

Yes, it is as simple as it sounds. This is especially surprising with regards to the transfers via LAN.
I think the website says you get 5 gigs free.
Yeah 5GB that gets an extra 1GB for each referral up to 10GB, at least until the beta is over. They said something about eventually increasing it after that. And of course they'll offer the paid options with heaps of storage if they actually want to monetise this one day.

IMO looks like a contender to Dropbox, but it doesn't really differentiate itself from any cloud storage service.

Actually it does differentiate itself. One example: it provides for unlimited syncing over LAN. That's a service that other "cloud" storage services don't provide.
Thats what I use cubby for (LAN Synching)…. its so much better than Windows Live Mesh
