I was doing a lot of research for a good quality work/travel laptop backpack, not too big, not too small, and not screaming "I am a luxury brand " attracting unwanted attention.
Eventually found this one at a bargain price worth sharing.
Everki is a well know US laptop bags and backpacks maker. Watch the demo video here.

It retails for $329.
Amazon is selling it for $249.
Googling for the next cheapest price is still over $150!

0.95% surcharge on card & PayPal payments. Delivery is $10. Total cost around $60.

Don't forget to activate CashRewards 2.1% cash back.

Capacity: 21.5L. External bag dimensions 16.5 x 12 x 7.5 inch. Accommodates laptops/notebooks up to 14.3 x 10.1 x 1.5 inch
Dedicated compartment for a 14.1-inch laptop or MacBook Pro 15 plus 13-inch tablet allows for easy access to devices to breeze through TSA checkpoints
Best protection: Hard-shell quick-access sunglasses case protects expensive eyewear. Patented corner guards provide extra protection for your laptop
Lots of usable pockets including RFID-blocking pocket to prevent theft of critical information. Trolley handle pass-through for stacking atop luggage
Well-organized and highly functional with lots of dedicated storage spaces, all while maintaining a compact profile. Perfect for mobile professionals
This backpack holds its shape perfectly with structured and padded sidewalls that won’t fall flat when you set the bag down

I commented shortly after that I received confirmation.

I received the backpack late last week.

    • Yeah i had the same, contacted them and they said the order was cancelled..

  • Damnit, mine was cancelled too..

  • Cancelled!

  • Finally.. mine is ready for processing with aus post, lucky me not waiting for the welcome voucher which i haven't received till today.

    • welcome voucher which i haven't received till today.

That welcome voucher is a myth now.

  • Cancelled.

    Again.

So that's 2 from 2 digiDirect orders cancelled by the seller. And the first one wasn't even an ozBargain deal, so I don't know whether they simply don't stock everything they sell?

  • Damn cancelled, and genuinely needed a travel bag. Would anyone have any other recommendations?

  • Cancelled.. they didn't even send a cancelled email

  • I had to follow this up and I got cancelled… No notifications at all.

I was really looking forward to getting this

    What bs

  • Same, no email. Order cancelled, got to know when checking card transactions.
Lack of transparency is disgusting, never shopping again with the store

  • I had to contact Digi Direct to get them to update my order and process and refund. Not a good look.

Having the stock oversold I can deal with, but I would think standard practice is to identify orders unfulfilled and automatically process refunds.. but nearly 2 months later and I had to do it myself.

Will be more cautious with Digi in the future

  • Cancelled. Claimed it was discontinued by the manufacturer.
