I tried to buy 2 tickets for tomorrow, many tickets show available but when I select them, it will come up as "The ticket you have selected is currently unavailable."

Yes I have, and had the same issue, someone is getting in before you.
New tickets keep appearing so you're just going to have to keep trying, and refreshing the page all the time until you finally get in first

Yeah it's a pretty bad system, I had to try for ages for the Sweden USA game so I can imagine it will be much worse for the Matildas game
It's at least a better system than trusting that the scalper you buy the ticket from is selling you a genuine one. Although that worked out well for a friend of mine who accidentally got sold a corporate box ticket for $50 to see Brazil play in South Africa!
I tried for two weeks for an Adelaide game (capacity of 15,000). Demand will be high, I suggest waking at around 5 and refreshing for an hour. More tickets definitely appear within 24 hours of kick off, presumably when people need to offload them at late notice because circumstances have changed. FIFA loves the resale process too - you know that 10% mark up you can add when you sell a ticket? FIFA collects that.
The secret is to constantly refresh then immediately click on the tickets when tickets come up. You then get 9 minutes to decide if you want them. If you wait to even look at the ticket someone has already put them in their basket.

I managed to get a ticket from the site a few days before the Canada v Aus group game, at around 11pm. it is possible, you really have to be super quick to add to cart (like <1 second after it pops up).
two tickets will make it even more difficult. and for knockout stage / matildas game…. good luck.
What is the go with just single kids tickets? I don't think they even allow solo kids into the stadium?
Do they even check this carefully upon admission?
on the site you cant buy a child ticket without also buying an adult ticket in the same transaction, so youll see the same child tickets pop up often cos people add to cart but cant buy them lol. I did a bit of googling before and saw that you might be able to upgrade a child ticket to adult, after you have bought it… but dont know for sure.

@sam-1966: Yeah you can upgrade apparently, but as j00lies said, if you just buy 1 kids ticket, when you get to the checkout it will say you have to buy another ticket at the same time, which by the time you manage to find one, the kids ticket will probably have timed out anyway
Are you trying buy tickets for FIFA World Cup 2026?
Discovered a trick which easily got me quarter final tickets tomorrow - new tickets display every 1m30s.
Method:
- Roughly refresh every 10 seconds until new tickets come up to get a reference point (you won't be trying to buy this round)
- Once these new ones display, start a stopwatch and around the 1m20s mark you need to be spamming refresh quick because you know new ones will be coming in a few seconds
- As soon as these new tickets come up select them ASAP and click checkout - only check if they're next to each other if looking for 2+ people
- Once in your cart it's all yours and you have 9 minutes to checkout so no rush
Additional:
- As mentioned above you can upgrade child tickets to adult ones BUT;
- You cannot checkout child tickets without an adult one so a common scenario would be that you purchase 2 child seats next to each other and a random adult one which you can sell back after upgrading child ones in the app

What if have already purchased an adult ticket, but want to buy a child ticket as well. Can I still just get the child ticket by itself or will I still need a new adult ticket along with the child ticket?

this system seems stupid, won't there be a lot of child tickets on the resale platform that can never be purchased because its unlikely you will get a child and adult ticket in 10 minutes to check out ?

I believe the scalpers have implemented ticketing bots. 5 pages worth of tickets appeared this morning and even though i jumped to the 4th page almost instantly, still no luck. When tickets are selling for thousands of dollars, it makes sense the scalpers would go all out.
