Was looking to pick up a Series X when I came across this from BIG W. Although it's not the cheapest it has been, still a good price for those looking to pick up a Series X and who missed out on the David Jones deal.

Forza Bundle is also $799 for those who would prefer that bundle.

JBHIFI also price-matched for me as the closest BIG W didn't have stock.

Use gift cards to get out cheaper

    • The same can be said about the PS5.
Supply has caught up with demand.

Wait…. You're telling me you can buy something 2nd hand for cheaper than brand new?!

        Whaaaaattttt??? No waaaaaayyyyyyy!

      • Mind blown!

      • 🤯

      • ain nowae what chu talken bout cuz

    • i sold my one like 900 bucks at the height of the pandemic it was an auction too so people bid up that much and ended up getting a ps5 instead. now though xboxs are cheap.

      • I had a digital ps5 and sold it serval months later, got more for it used than what i paid for it. was crazy

  • Is D4 in this package a physical disc, or a download code?

    • +2

Looks like a download, says D4 is 'digital direct' on the box.

      • Yep, is digital

      • Thank you!

      • +4

Digital and also tied to the console, so you can’t sell off the download code if you wanted to.

        • I didnt know that. Thanks.

        • +3

          What?!

An unused code is tied to the console?!

          Unbelievable!

          • +4

@The Value: Yeah, it’s kind of crappy. Xbox does it with all their console bundles, even the Series S bundle that comes with DLC for Rocket League and Fortnite. Codes are all tied to the console.

          • +1

@The Value: I sense sarcasm. It's pretty crap that it's tied to the console.

            • +2

              @nuttapillar: Nope. It's sincere outrage.

There's no good reason for it to be tied to the console.

I can see why it comes off as sarcssm but it really is unbelievable that a unused code is tied to a console.

            • @nuttapillar: And it's not even a "special edition" console. It's just a plain Xbox bundled with a game.

Nintendo did it best with the 2ds. My limited edition Pokemon 2ds could always download the Pokemon game regardless of account attached.

        • Thank you, and that's weird.

Is it not tied to your account like other Xbox digital purchases? If the XSX develops a fault in the future and it is replaced, I can no longer play the game because it was tied to that console?

          • @GreenLego: I am pretty sure it is not tied to the console but it is on the console waiting to be activated by an account that is logged in and then it is added to that accounts library. Many of the above posts are misleading.

        • You probably could if u logged the buyers account in to activate the code and add to their library

  • Im sorta in the market for a XBOX Series X.

Im in no hurry, so im thinking wait to see what xmas deals present themselves.

Further to that, the next gen cant be TOO far off…

  • If you have everday extra can you get 10% off on this?

Too bad the pricing isn't dropping on this and some other recent AAA titles

    • Stillloads online.
      It’s a grind tho

They could have made the Xbone console Diablo themed.

  • Are they doing the Xbox x trade in for PS5 for $15 still? May be the way to get a ps5.

If you are not interested in the bundle. Moorabin Costco has plenty in stock this afternoon at $734.99

  • To all those complaining it’s tied to the console..
U can sorta get around it.
Tied means someone logging can access the code and add it to their library.
So if amate wants it they can login to your console, activate code to add to their library then logout and remove their account.
Potentially u could sell access to the code and log the buyer in but it’s a hassle.
I noticed on an older similar game deal that it actually gave me more than one access key too.
    This may have changed though.

Bvioysly the deal is not as good as when they just added a printed code on a sheet with consoles
