[Android, iOS] Free: Prosper Day Planner Lifetime License @ Prosper Mobile App

6910
OZBARGAIN

I am a developer of the Prosper Day planner app and I want to help out users of this site. Good luck reaching your goals!

You can get the free prime by going into the settings view of the app, tapping "App version" three times, and then entering the word "OZBARGAIN" in the field. Enjoy!

If you want to return the favor, I would be forever thankful if you could give the app a review in the store.

  • Thanks! Nice app! Can you try and integrate tasks to Siri?

  • +1

Hi thanks for the app. Very clean interface.
Are you able to break down advantages of this over the google calendar with a family calendar.

Also one thing I noticed is tapping on screen moves to the next day but sometimes goes back a day when tapping the one location?

    • yes, keen to know the same

  • +2

Looks great OP! I would totally use it if it synced with Google.

Also I would suggest, if possible, having a multi day view or a week view so you can plan a bit in advance.

    Other than that great product

    • +1

      Agree with this.
I primarily use Google Calendar, and not local calendar on my phone.
Doesn't seems to sync directly to google calendar

  • +3

Does this sync the data with other cloud services or you run your own cloud service?

  • +1

Thank you for sharing. I'll have a closer look at the app this evening. My main comment is that I'd be looking for something that syncs with Google calendar but also is alexa friendly. And even zapier or ifttt integration. I'm looking for a better way to get more dynamic lists and events displayed by my alexa (echo show) devices

  • What makes this better than a calendar app you get on your phone/desktop?

  • I like it. Simple.

  • +1

Thr biggest winner for me would be:
    Importing google tasks
I could create tasks in here but it's much easier sometimes to use voice to create tasks: hey Google remind me to do x on Mon 25th Aug .

  • Looks like a cool app!

Would also appreciate being able to sign-up using an email address.

Can you sync with an Outlook Calendar too?

  • +3

Just want to thank the Developer OP for making this apps. Others seem to have provided very super useful feedback so I just want to appreciate the App itself.

  • Thank you!

  • Awesome. Thx

  • when viewing a whole month on the iphone calendar I see a dot under each day there is an entry. That is really handy. Would be great on Prosper too.

  • Thank you

  • Nice app - congrats

Seems you got logo design idea from tiktok ahah

  • Thanks, interface seems really nice but a lot of features seems to be included yet.

  • Thanks OP! Nice looking organizer!

  • -4

OP i am a full stack developer and can give you an hand there if you need me in anything i.e Windows, Mac, web versions etc. Thanks

  • +4

    Thanks mate.
I don't want to use either google or apple login.
I know the email feature is coming soon.
In the meantime, if I re-install, change phones, etc, will the code still be valid? How do you track this?
    (it's probably answered already, sorry)

    • +3

I will leave this code active if in case you need to restore it in the future. Either way, you can always send me an email and I will provide a new code for you.

  • Congrats on the great app. My feedback, for sustainability long-term for the app, it would be absolutely awesome to:
    - Have other syncing options (for example iCloud for iOS)
    - Have calendar syncing (I believe at the moment its imports?)
    - Have Reminder list syncing (for example sync a dedicated list from the Reminder's app)

This would provide a lot of value to have Prosper for people that already are in other systems, whilst being able to still continue to use other apps as fall-back if required.

    Awesome work!

  • Thanks mate! Looks great so far!

  • If i change my phone, do i keep my lifetime sub benefit?

  • -4

so i use this app to get amazon prime? is that the bargain?

  • App looks amazing. Only drawback for me is there is no macOS app?

  • Thanks. Looks good to me.

  • +8

    My only queation

WHY CAN'T I SIGN UP WITH EMAIL??

ONLY AVAILABLE BY GOOGLE LOGIN OR APPLE

  • What are the "Prime Features" compared to the standard version?

  • Sweet, thanks!

  • +2

    To OP:
Just a curious question: why are you in Latvia? That's what Google Play says about you.

  • Thanks OP, it looks nice & clean, quick and simple to use.
Suggestions/features mentioned by others above are great, zooming in and integrating with other Calendars (Google/O365 etc) would be great.

  • Since we can only sign up via Google or Apple account, does this mean we are giving away our Google/Apple calendar data etc. away?

    • +1

No, sign in only gives your name and email for account-creating purposes. You only can enable calendar sync later in the settings, if you want or don't want.

  • So far I really like it. Just promise to keep it lifetime.
Sometimes apps like this on ozbargain are "Life time" but get revoked later when the app gets popular. Happened before 😔

Edit: is there a way to view the current month at a glance that would be really useful for me?.

after using the app for a week, I’ll leave a review 👍

  • seriously, what does the Prime features give you? I asked earlier to no reply

I feel like entering the OZBARGAIN code doesn't unlock anything since it doesn't show anything different in the app.

    • +1

It gives you ability to enable data back/mutli device data sync. Homescreen widgets, custom repeating periods for tasks and so much more.

  • Downloaded. I will leave a 5 star review once i use it. All the best.

  • Hey asking again,
If i change my phone, do i keep my lifetime sub benefit?

Great UI BTW. Seems like on the way to a great app with so much feedback from community. Cheers

    • +1

You will keep the lifetime sub, if you create a Prosper account. Then the subscription status will be synced to Prosper server.

  • Interface looks fab and more user friendly than standard calendar on phone. I will use the app once sharing with family function is available.

  • When I go to put in the code, it doesn't seem to work. Android by the way.

    • Just tried it, still works.

      • Yeah I had to just keep tapping the tick button a couple of times. Cheers.

  • +2

Nice app but it would be awesome if there is a repeatable option for fortnightly.

  • Tried to create an account using Google account on iOS and its not working, nor is the website link :/

    • You mean http://prosper-app.com/ does not open for you?

      • Does not load, and the app is also not working when trying to register using my google account

        • That seems like something on your end. Maybe you have weird VPN or other stuff that could interupt your connection.

  • Hey @ziggy bird

First of all thanks for sharing and giving us OZBargainers premium access. Would have been a nice Android dev nod if you made the code accessible after 7 taps. :D

Overall I think your app has a really nice UI/UX, even compared to other apps people have mentioned here like Tick Tick and Structured.

I know when releasing software you can get inundated with requests and issues. But here are a few minor issues I found when testing which should be simple enough to remedy.

    1. When you are on a different date other than today, "Today" in the top-right corner near the notifications is not prominent enough, it does not read as a clickable/tappable button, just needs a bullet button background so it stands out as interactable.

    2. Changing a recurring event modifies ALL events. There should be an option, like on Android that lets you just modify this current instance. So all future (or past events) should not be changed in the calendar.

    3. You currently have a "Create a task" interaction that sits in between any spaces in the calendar. It would be nice if depending on which one you tapped, it used the Start Date of the "free time" as the start of the new Task/event. Otherwise, the interface would look better and less busy if you only had a single point to add a new task like the "+" button at the bottom.

    Again, nice work.

P.S. Maybe you can fix the footer on your web page too, by either adding a margin or padding on the right or just go with a standard centred footer, as at the moment its very offputting.. maybe I have OCD.. haha

  • I gave the app a good workout and felt compelled to leave a review. I haven't been able to leave reviews for apps for a long time due to some bug with Google Workspace accounts,.but tried leaving a review here (obviously 5 stars):

    https://play.google.com/store/ereview?docId=com.prosper.rout…

Unfortunately I click the submit button and nothing happens. Tried the same directly from my phone as well. Anyway, this was my review:

"Great app, quick and easy onboarding process and it does exactly what it says on the tin. There's a lot to like here. Don't change a thing! I really like how it's laid out, you can add a task in the spaces between other tasks. Display is very readable and clear, especially in dark mode. Multi-device sync and calendar import seem to work flawlessly. Right now it has exactly what I need and nothing I don't. I don't often review apps but I really wanted to commend the developer for his excellent work."

  • One pet peeve I have is, that scrolling to set the time can get a little annoying when setting lots of things up at once.

One thing I have been looking for in a scheduling app is more flexibility in the reoccurring monthly setting.
They need to be able to set things on the X last day of the month, X Thursday of the month, last business day (ability to integrate public holidays would be bonus).

Wish list would be to have:
    * intergration to google maps, to adjust the planned commute time and reminders accordingly
    * task tracking, how long did i spend doing X in the last Y days
    * private mode for more personal things like therapy appointments or period tracking (predictive period notifications would be a bonus)
    * automatic adjustments to other activities if we put in that we are running long for something

  • I installed this app, the interface is so clean and clutter-free. I like it so far. Thumbs up and Good Luck

  • It's a beautiful app, but I won't be able to use it because, whilst it imports (some) events from Google Calendar, items I add in Prosper don't feed back into my preferred calendar (Google Cal).

  • Nice one, thanks!

  • @ziggy bird
License disappear once i uninstall the app.

I dont want to use it now and take up space, so uninstall the app.

I try to Re install again to test if the prime membership was retained and it lost the membership. I was asked to input code or updagrade.

  • Can it be used across multiple devices? It's why I have stuck with the native iOS apps but it's tedious.

  • +2

    @ziggy bird

How are we supposed to review the Terms of service and Privacy policy when the bolded words as part of the signup process do not provide access to the relevant details?

  • Thanks much … was looking for this kind of app.

  • Thank you OP

  • Please add screen orientation options // work towards building an interface of for tablets used in landscape mode!

  • +1

How do you turn off the vibration when swiping through the days? On Android.

  • Thanks for sharing.

Maybe an option to change the accent colour? Like the default darkmode is just black and blue. Can the blue be set to different colours like pink or green or (choice) etc.

Definitely need to turn the vibrate option off, that got super annoying fast.
Weekend should be different coloured. (or be able to set different days different colours, eg. shift work or days off etc)
With the views, it would be nice to be able to see multiple type views. eg, work week, 3 days, fortnight, day view etc.

I'm not sure what the inbox option is.

Public Holidays showing up automatically would be nice.

Adding things seems to be all task related. Would like an 'event' option. Like going to see a movie or a concert shouldn't be considered a task. Or someone's birthday. For adding notes, it should be able to add other files. Eg pictures. maybe, links.

I couldn't find the 'to do list' option. If you add to one day does it carry on the the next week?

Don't think this would be replacing my Calendar app anytime soon but keep at it! Looks promising

    • Inbox is for a list of tasks, without a specific time booking.

  • Thanks OP. I will give it.

  • Hi I am trying to get this but it is not working

  • App looks great and I’m already integrating it to convert my to do list into practical outcomes. Any chance the code is still working to try out all of the features?
