I panicky preordered this game and now they are doing this to us.
I think it may not be a good idea to preorder future Zelda collector’s edition seeing retailers have more stock than they could shift.
This one is just bad value and reflected in the price drops.

I am actually surprised these are still in stock I remember breath of the wild collectors sold out so quickly.
Suspect that the Master Sword statue is more appealing for more people, compared to an artbook. Especially a softcover artbook.
Nintendo also probably over produced the TotK Collector's Edition to meet higher expected demand.
It somewhat screws over the people who brought at fully price, but at least Nintendo can't be accused of artificial scarcity this time. And if it makes scalpers cry? Even better.
