wow good deal, I read its ok and I see some third party filters now available from aliexpress. This will be my first air purifier, lets see how it goes. I have 2 cats at home, I suffer from allergies. We stay next to a busy road, lots of pollution. Hoping this will help.

      the cats are just half the problem, we stay in an industrial area with lots of trucks, so will see if it makes any difference. Testing all this hype about air purifiers.

    I bought an older version of this for my parents house whom have a dog and I use the wifi functionality to turn it on full blast before I go over and it helps with my allergies when i arrive. When you start cooking it senses all the fumes and reads the particle concentration and auto increases the fan speed (if on auto) which is handy.

    Beware of the replacement filter price though. Speaking from experience as a Pro H owner. Fantastic purifier, pricy filter (imho)

      good point, I see some generics on aliexpress for around $44, will see if they work as well though.

    Note that most 3rd party filters aren't HEPA (so would pretty much be a dust filter)

      good to know, i dont mind paying for the filter, it is the heart of the unit after all and almost all good purifiers have somewhat pricey filters.

    I bought this a few months back and it works well. As my wife is the one who uses it she was very pleased with the speed it removed the smoke smell in the house from local burn off. We dont plan on using it every day so dont think we will need a new filter for a while. Would be nice to know where you can get one though as they dont appear to be easily available to buy.
