Agree , the battery life was atrocious. Used one for 3 weeks( when $349 sale), returned and thankfully given my money back.
Yes this is also the issue with small-range electric cars. You end up putting a large number of cycles on the battery very quickly, thus wearing it out and reducing the (already small) capacity very quickly.
Not seeing the appeal of this deal, the Wi-Fi version went down to 349 on the Google Store 2 months ago
The Watch 2 is also coming out in 2 months with likely significantly improved battery life
We had 1/2 price pixel phones deal so holding for the same for pixel watches ;)

Can u charge these using phones reverse wireless charging?
Yes but the watch needs to sit flat on the phone. Some bands don't allow the watch to sit flat so it won't charge as a result.
Aah thanks for that. I had read earlier that it could, but it turns out that the charging screen that appears on the watch only lasts for about 45 seconds (if that) but doesnt actually charge the watch. What a miss by Google. I hope they fix this in the next iteration.
Bought the Pixel Buds Pro x2. Not the cheapest they'd been, but I needed them.
Be aware, Google Guides with a discount code to use, you can apply the discount code you received a couple of weeks ago, but the products will be returned to full price and the sale price discount is more than the discount code.

I would wait for the version 2 of the Pixel Watch. The battery life and spec is simply not good enough at this price point, there are better watches to choose from.
The current rumours regarding the Pixel Watch 2 show that it will be using the Snapdragon W5 which should have a significant bump in both performance and efficiency. Battery life should be miles better.
I dont understand the idea of buying watches like these that are poor on battery life, to the point of them havinf a usable life of maybe a year two tops before the battery is too diminished. At least this would be getting updates….
