I recently came across this USB microphone. would suit many different applciations. (picking mine up today).

Looks like Aldi & Officeworks used to sell this Mic, and the reviews don't seem too bad for a budget USB microphone.

The Vivitar Condenser USB Microphone is a great companion for podcasting, voice overs, broadcasting, and more. It has a built-in volume knob for control, and a solid, sturdy metal construction. It's compatible with MacOS, Windows, and PS4 gaming consoles.

  • Almost pulled the trigger before seeing shipping costs.

Thanks all the same, if you can collect this it's a good deal.

  • Same, best I could see is $18.95 (eBay Plus) from the Gamesmen eBay store with a $5 voucher.
Oh well, great if you live near a Gamesmen store an can pick up.

This is a decent condenser microphone. Got one and use it to muck around on YouTube. Cannot go wrong at this price.

  • I currently wanting a tripod stand for my Kmart microphone (instead of having to use the boom arm. Postage for me is showing $17, so about $26 total. Guessing from the comments above, it would be worth just getting this rather than finding a stand for my existing? Won't hurt to have two mics.

  • Deliver fee kills the deal

  • Thanks Op, ordered one for $16.28 including shipping.
