I've got one of those impact massage guns (cheap Theragun). The batteries are dying quickly- I strongly suspect that a single one of the cells in series is just losing capacitary faster than the others and the whole pack is going out of whack because it doesn't balance charge.
I could try to disassemble the plastic casing around the battery compartment and install my own cells, but frankly this sounds like a huge PITA and I'd likely end up snapping some plastic catches somewhere.
Are there any services in Sydney that will do this kind of thing? Crack open a device and load it up with new 18650 cells? The rest of the massage gun is pretty good, it's just got iffy-quality cells and no balance charging circuitry.
