My Amaysim plan is ending… guessing this is for new customers only? Here in QLD I find the data speed up around 75mbps, which is amazing. Ts and Cs state that it uses 3g for voice, which is interesting.

    • +3

new customers only. You could port to Lebara using the $4 starter pack at Coles and then port back to this if you really like amaysim. 75 is an amazing speed for 4G.

    • There should be VoLTE now on Amaysim. Maybe give them a call and check if it's the phone's problem or a provision problem.

Still kicking myself for not getting the $60/year deal. No worries, 11 more months to go.

    • +1

There will be one for Black Friday sale in November, so no need to wait 11 months.

    • Pls share the link. I'm also waiting for the similar deal. My boost sim plan is ending this Oct.

  • Would the Woolies 10% discount for those who have that (insurance/existing mobile plan) apply for this purchase?

    • +2

      Yes

    • What is this

      • If you have Woolworths insurance, or Woolworths Mobile linked to everyday rewards, you get a 10% off 1 shop every month.

        • So spend it wisely , ya tight arse !

What’s the activation by date ?

    • +1

You'll need to check the fineprints on packaging. The one I bought in the last batch was within 12 months of purchase.

any other better 365days or 180 days deal atm?

    • +3

Not really. There is a catch connect 90 days for $20 I believe. Not much else atm, but things come and go quickly.

    • I got the $250/150gb Vodafone starter pack for $150 at Woolies yesterday. Not the best in terms of data but at least I can get 5g.

    • Checked Kogan 365?
      Unless expired already

  • Can you pay egift card at self check out?

    • No you can’t I can confirm

  • What are EDR points? Never mind. I googled it. 🙂.. and duhhhh😔

This 60GB plan does not include "Unlimited standard international talk to 28 countries, SMS and MMS to selected countries" according to amaysim website.

    https://www.amaysim.com.au/sim-plans/6-month-12-month-sim-pl…

  • physic amaysim $99 365 plan is including international call, but its $99 365 plan from website is not including.

  • What's 1000 EDR points worth?

  • Managed to buy the last one at my local Woolies. The receipt says activated… does it actually mean that? I was planning to use it in a few months time… The packaging does say expires with 12 months of purchasing the sim. Sounds confusing

  • Plenty at Glenquarie woolies

  • Has anyone successfully used wish gift card to purchase it? I tried to use it today but it got declined. Was told by cashier we cannot use gift card to purchase sim. Is that right?

I have previously found that using a WW egift card to buy one of these at self checkout did not work. I have seen it claimed that if your purchase also includes groceries then it may work. I plan to try this tomorrow.

    • +2

Okay, I bought one this morning with a bunch of groceries, but paying with a WW egift card still did not work. The attendant at self checkout said that's normal, and offered to remove the SIM pack so it could be purchased separately, so I could use an egift card for the groceries. I declined and used an alternative payment method because I was using my WW monthly 10% off (for having a WW mobile plan), and the 10% off also applies to the SIM pack if it's part of the same purchase.
