I bought from an earlier (cheaper) deal. Happy. Comfortable. Value for money.

Bought from an earlier deal also. Quite decent sheets. Feel quite soft and pleasant and they don't feel cheap.

    • I made the order and received the item yesterday.

They look like good quality bed linen. The sheets are quite thick and durable yet do have a satin feel.

The brand is "Gainsborough" (Gainsboroughhome.com), owned and designed in Australia, made in India.

I suspect these things have a shelf life and so are being cleared for that reason, and for turnover.

  • Are these for hot or cold sleepers?

    • The sheets are quite thick (and thus durable).

Hold/Cold sleepers is more of a thing in choosing blankets and doonas though.

  • king link goes to a queen size?

Best sheets I have tried lately (and I have bought a LOT of different expensive brands) is the $90 Target Supima 400 Thread Count set (Yes, Target, but not the 1000, not the 250, not the 800 and they have to be the Supima). They don't make any quilt/doona covers, so I have these pillowcases and sheets paired up with Brooklinnen Lux Sateen quilt cover (at just under $300 each!) and the Target sheets are almost as good as the Brooklinnen stuff.

  • Sheets arrived super fast, but they smell like someone wiped their arse with them. The smell better go away after the pre use wash…

    • That smell is from the shipping containers, I think. Many things get that smell.

I got a Ducky keyboard on sale once and it somehow stank badly of it, but went away.

Basically it's the smell of garbage, and you have to wonder that when logistics screw up, and shipping containers sit in the docks too long, do things inside start to rot and stink up everything else.
